Great video. I didn't know about this watch, so thank you for sharing this. My go-to Casio that makes me feel like selling everything and retiring to a small village in Tuscany and never speaking English again, is the DW-290. I used to hate it, it's terribly 90s and kinda strange looking, but for $40, it changed my life. Everything with its design is so deliberate and clever. Gotta love Casio. Having read that, I realize now I sound like a crazy person. 🤣🤣🤣 What I was trying to say is, a lot of Casio watches seem to trigger something in me that wants to return to a childhood "happy place", so to speak. Like some kind of resin Proustian Madeleine. For me, it was a time when I was learning English having moved to the UK from Italy, around the same time I got my first Casio watch. Hence the comment. I wear my Casio W800 most of the time. I work in a labor intensive job so it takes a beating. But even outside of work, I wear it a lot. It’s so light, not flashy, solid watch that isn’t drawing too much attention. I have much more expensive watches that I wear when I feel like wearing something nice. Otherwise, Casio it is.

My daily wear is the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 38 2018 version. But I wear my classic G Shock square every time I go to the gym. Super comfortable, light, and durable.

This is far better than F91. The build quality is just better. I like it so much I even bought two. one on original strap, one on nato strap. but now that's belong to my kids.

Casio MTP-1183Q pretty dressy but I work as dental biller so that means office job, it goes well with the “Smart casual” look and it’s very affordable

Good video. My Casio is the A168WA. It's the one watch that ALWAYS puts on a smile on my face. I'm an old guy and grew up in the 80s. That watch reminds me of my youth so much. I like to tell my Millenial friends that it is my Smart watch. Keep up the good work!

I own this watch and love it for the same reasons - super comfy, low profile and utilitarian, whilst it also looks cool with plenty of retro charm. I definitely wear it a lot more than I ever wore my f-91w. BUT, I have another casio which competes for the same niche on my wrist: the MQ24-9B. It's a variation of the super slim and super simple MQ-24 analogue, but with a lovely cream/tan dial and 24 hour markings. Highly recommend for simplicity and a cool and interesting look. Can be had for less than $20.

My TAG is my DD now but I had a Casio for sports wear and just loved it. Also, never worried about getting mugged for my watch. One of my all time favorites and I still catch myself looking at it when I'm shopping watches. Maybe another is coming, lol!

Recently bought the Casio MQ-24-7BLL and I've been wearing it almost everyday since! It is easily my favorite watch! Its minimal and simple design with a white dial, black resin strap and black arabic numbers make it very comfortable to wear yet is equally stylish and versatile and has impressive water and scratch resistance. Its a watch I can wear dressed down in a short sleeved shirt and trousers or dressed up with a suit.

Can you swim with it. I know it says WR (meaning 30m) but I’ve swam with with the f91w and it still works. Is this the same as that?

I feel like the F-84W is slightly better version of the F-91W despite that the F-91W was made 3 years after the F-84W.

I used this watch years ago (I believe that I still has it somewhere), I loved it but I see a slight "defect" with your film. You called it "Don't buy F91-W etc" which suggests that F84 is at least slightly better than the former one. Except the size, you don't show anything that would prove it. So I will help you with that: I believe that F84 can show 2 different time zones, a feature that F91 don't have. For me it was veru useful as my sisters live in different time zone than me.

At least upgrade to a Casio with ILLUMINATOR. Can't even read the one you have without daylight. Try the Casio W217H - cheap with vintage looks, big numbers and great illumination. Edit: I actually own and recommended the Explorer to you in the comments once and you replied that it was your GRAIL watch. LOL
