Stephen! You guys at Invent Right are heroes in the new economy! I was wondering, has a company ever offered to buy your idea out-right? Would you sell it and if so, how would you arrive at your selling price? I'm so grateful for what you are doing. It is really life-changing work!

Thank you for watching. Companies typically don't buy your ideas out right. Too much risk.

I have developed a great golf accessory that has been found to be original and it is without doubt the best golf accessory I have ever used and I know for a fact it would be a big seller. I'm busy polishing up the demo video, I do have a preliminary patent application on file and I could sure use some advice on how to go about getting a company interested in taking it on.

Thanks Stephen...I have made a change to my product idea after almost landing a licenseing agreement. Should I refile my PPA with the changes now or wait until it expires?

When it comes to Intellectual property protection, every case is unique. You might want to check out Stephen's book "Sell Your Ideas With or Without A Patent": www.amazon.com/Sell-Your-Ideas-Without-Patent/dp/1507885733/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8. You might also find this article useful:: www.inc.com/stephen-key/what-to-do-when-your-provisional-patent-application-is-about-to-expire.html. It's not exactly the same case, but some of the considerations are the same. Finally, you may consider contacting the inventRight team: www.inventright.com/contact. Thank you for watching Deron!

Stephen, How can you gain perceived ownership over a product that introduces an existing idea with a slight design twist into a new field of use? (per Amy Jo's video kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3zCfoKhor90pdEm12s )

Hello Ed! Thank you for watching! That is a great question. Check out our Library section on establishing perceived ownership: www.inventright.com/component/k2/content/establishing-perceived-ownership.
