I've been doing it for years. It works. It's also good for shaping shots if you have some control your clubface.

Thank you Alex, great video, as always! I will definitely be trying this. I’m blind in my left eye and have trouble with depth perception and your clear instructions have really helped me improve my ball striking. Can’t wait to try this out with my driver!!

Thanks Alex, had a pretty good day with these tips, more consistent drives and iron shots than I’ve had in years, 34 Stableford point ( handicap 13) putting let me down and the occasional brain fade. Great, concise and informative instructions, just need to keep triggering myself on each shot, thanks

last year was the year of driver improvement. by the end of the season, my goal was, in my practice swing, to ruffle the grass about 8 inches behind the ball position. this year, I'm going to be working on consistency with my irons. this goes hand in hand with moving the ball position forward in the stance for longer irons. and yes, I'm one of those who will pull the 3 out of the bag when I'm feeling good.

I've learned in my short time with golf, to look at the low points instead of the ball itself. My main problem is with the driver. When I tilt my spine I tend to hit the ground instead. Thanks for all your videos and tips!

In Finland we have outdoors season about mid april to mid october: the simulator season is five months from november to march. But I can use my simulator slot also in april until the outdoors golf course opens 😊 at least in my Golf Club ❤ My slot is saturdays 3pm-6pm, Perfect time for me 👍 that 5 months simulator costs 1000€, so it'll be about 45€/time (because of those extra April sessions) I started using this simulator last year, and it helped me a lot. But this year has been much better (simulator), because I have started to practice and concentrate more than last year 😊 Your instructions help a lot too 😊

Hey Alex I’m a bit confused, I struggle with topping the ball and slicing it with my longer clubs, in one of your previous videos you say you focus behind the ball and that it works for irons and drivers, but in this one you are having the focus shift in front of the ball, behind the ball focus has been helping me with less topping but I’m still getting a slice out of my hybrids and drivers, can you clarify for me?
