There are a few doctors that stress eating these foods regardless of whether they are organic or not is still tremendously better than the processed crap most of us were eating before. It’s not in a lot of people’s budgets to buy organic pasture raised foods when you are trying to feed a family on a budget. Don’t let the idea of only purchasing organic pasture raised foods keep you from making a switch to keto or carnivore, I don’t purchase them and my numbers have improved dramatically in just six months and so has my weight. Eat healthy and what you can afford.

My breakfast super simple and tasty sardine recipe: take your fav brand of sardines in water, drain it, and replace it with a mix of balsamic vinegar and soy sauce. I know soy sauce isn't the most healthy but you're not eating that much of it and its way better than the oil or hot sauce or mustard they also pack in sardines. And if you don't want the soy just do all vinegar then, but it tastes way better with a bit of soy sauce in there. Just let it marinate in the tin for 5 minutes and it is delicious. The tangy and salty combo completely masks the fishiness that comes with sardines in water. Been doing this for almost a year nearly every single morning along with a hamburger patty or pork steak and I still have yet to get sick of it

I lost the weight and now treat myself to some peanut butter cups on the weekend and I have been able to control it and look forward to my weekend treat after going 5 days without it. Unfortunately there are few states where you can buy raw dairy in a store. I don't know how expensive raw dairy is in a grocery store, but I'm sure it's cheaper than the way we have to buy it in Colorado. Here, you have to buy a "share" of a cow, and then pay ridiculously high prices for the milk. Plus, you have to drive to the farm to get it. About a 2 hour drive for me to the closest farm that sells raw dairy.

I even quit with the coconut oil. Coconut is a seed, isn't it? If I need any kind of cooking oil I use butter or bacon fat. I never realized there was so much to watch for in milk. My wife and I stopped drinking it at the turn of the millennium. As Sally Brown complained, "It's all full of ingredients!" I don't care what color the egg shells are. I care about the color of the yolks. I want the orange ones. That means "free range." That's where all the vitamins are. Bacon is wonderful, and one of my main staples. I'm there for the fat. Farm-sourced is best, the less processed, the better.

~~ I tried getting "pork belly" because technically, that is bacon without all the processing or added ingredients like nitrites and nitrates. But I did not like it. It tastes no different than a slice of ham. SO I went back to eating Black Label or Smithfield thick cut bacon. ~~ I don't eat alot of cheese but when I do, I do not shred it myself. Gotta change that. ~~ I don't drink alot of milk. But drinking store bought milk means I just get probiotics elsewhere. But I am intrigued to try A2 milk. Does it come in gallon form? ~~ I use organic extra virgin olive oil. I sometimes use avocado oil or coconut oil. However, I cook my German Shepherd 1 egg and 1 slice of bacon in the morning so I cannot use anything but the grease form the bacon or coconut oil. ~~ I usually get wild caught fish but you also have to make sure it is not a product of China. Read the labels. ~~ I buy skipjack tuna in water. ~~ For supplements, I look for the logo that has an approval from USP. Some don't require it and this young lady is right, don't take something unless you actually have a deficiency according to bloodwork or it could be a big negative. ~~ I tend to waste my yogurt. I usually get Lite & fit. Low sugar and low fat...however, I prefer full fat and its hard to find. But I have heard the one that says 5% is actually the full fat. ~~ Primal Kitchen just doesn't make a product large enough and the small quantity costs more. And why exactly is Mayo so naughty? ~~ I can only afford conventional eggs right now but I occasionally get eggs from a family friend who gets them straight from her chickens. I even have to clean off the poo!

Your information is solid and your uplifting attitude is so valuable… but I think presenting your videos in this way with “misleading” titles is holding you back… I love your content and I want you to grow and get the word out to people who really need it! Hello there! I really appreciate your kind message and constructive criticism. It means more to me than you know! Do you have suggestions on what you would have title this video? How would you improve the title? Thank you!
@KZ-pt5qk7 ай бұрын
@@LillieKaneno problem! First I would get rid of the “x’s” over the products in the picture… that gives an impression that those foods are actually not good and healthy even though that is not your intention. The picture itself is great though 👍 Also the “” around the word healthy is misleading because the foods you are talking about actually are healthy. I think a lot of influencers in this space are becoming a little too elitist with food quality and people who really need to heal themselves from the SAD diet are being turned off because of this push for organic only foods… and on that note… The information in this video is so important because you are educating people on how to find the best foods in those 7 categories within their means! I even saw a comment on this video right as it was posted saying just that! “Too expensive… I can’t do this diet… etc” it was pretty obvious they went completely off the thumbnail…. So maybe something like “The top 7 foods I always check ingredients labels… “ etc… I am sure you could think of a better version of this… 😂 And unrelated to this video but… I did share a video of yours with a friend who really needs this lifestyle information and her reaction was negative to it because of the sponsorship included in the video. Now I totally understand why people do sponsorships and I know that you only promote products that you genuinely think are beneficial… however I am finding that the people who most desperately need to heal themselves are automatically turned off by the “product placement” and she did in this example completely dismiss everything in that video because… her impression was “oh she’s just trying to sell me a product, her information is not valuable”… I saw one woman in this space use the approach of saying her sponsorship upfront and then “thank you for supporting my small businesses”… now I know that this might not work exactly for your content but maybe consider thinking of ways you could adjust your approach with sponsorships. I don’t think most people understand that sponsorship is not being “bought and paid for” by the “industry” but it is definitely perceived that way unfortunately! This is a lot! Sorry 😂 But I really hope it helps ❤

I’m over “wigging it” as far as thumbnails and titles go, giving my best guess as to what people are interested in but I know others are going to have great ideas that I’m not thinking of. Thanks again for your message, it inspired me more than you realize 😄 have a happy Mother’s Day!

Where can you go to get thorough bloodwork? My primary doctor doesn’t test for vitamin deficiencies.

Labcorp, Quest Diagnostics, Life Extension. Life Extension has some testing bundles that appear to me to save money. I haven’t used them though. All of these have individual tests too, but it adds up. For example web search Labcorp micronutrient test $239 Life Extension Elite blood test (male, female) specific. $431.

I read that all sardines are wild caught too. Too expensive to farm raise them. Is there a recommendation for wild caught tuna? Sardines are so fishy 🤢

Can’t take any supplements or med after my brain injury. They all make me sick, I have tried the liquid form, is a little bit better but some will still make me sick

Salmon in any form should be eaten two times per week per multiple studies done at Purdue University. Wild caught salmon does not have significantly fewer toxins then farm raised and both forms are excellent for health.

No way. Farm raised is DISGUSTING. When you know, you know.

The studies showed far fewer cardiac issues in people that consume salmon twice weekly regardless of source. Other fish is more likely to have too much metal to consume more than once weekly but salmon is beneficial twice weekly
