Geeze. If you’re at someone’s wedding just relax and have fun. If it starts getting full on - leave, say, all the best guys, I’m needing to get up early tomorrow morning 😂 thanks so much for tonight, it’s been fun. Then leave! I can’t imagine feeling the need to negotiate at every single event in our life. How exhausting.

Dennis, patience is a skill. As any skill, practice makes perfect. But there's also a mental part: stop wanting to CHANGE OTHERS. If your focus, your energy arr used for self-improvement, then you won't even feel the need to respond to those negative people. Let them fight the wall basically. Hope this will help someone

Everything is potentially a negotiation, but not everything should be negotiated. Some things are decisions and to treat it otherwise is distracting attention form real negotiations.

Anytime there is a want or a need you are in a negotiation. A negotiation is just a difficult conversation. These are conversational tools to help you get what you want without abusing your counterpart. It's about creating long term relationships and leaving favorable impressions.
