I’ve always thought that the ships were designed great and than given very generic and racy colors that didn’t seem like something you’d see in space. The meridian paint is one of my first favorites they did and it’s the simplest! I just am not a fan of the high contrasting colors for the most part. But the steel paint jobs(brushed or stainless) I love

meridian FTW. Is it still CIG's plan to make store paints available to purchase in game? We only have splinter and a couple for the retaliator available via AUEC atm if I remember right. Which is weird cause those are still on the RSI storefront too

it's good practice just to pick any exclusive livery up then melt them in to credit to buy again so you got some buy-back options for later. keeping credit so you can pick up paints for next time. this is why i'll always buy cosmetic and gear from the store like armor sets things that can be melted quick for credit.

Throwing more money at CIG is not good practice bro... However - in your defense... I had over $120 in store credit just sitting there for years before I finally used it to close out some CCU's.

Heya Ded, best paint for the MSR is the Nightrunner skin. If you don't have it, get it. Trust me, you'll love it. :)

Was a little disappointed the Corsair didn’t get a pirate week paint, but it should have one for Halloween (which I’ll probably not get) and BIS. The Eclipse meridian looks good, better than the Ambush, but the white BIS is still the most awesome (which I don’t own 😢)

The meridian paints are some of the best looking in my opinion also but they are still basic as f***. I don't know what the problem is over at CIG but they need to make better paints. Every paint they have out feels like something I could have come up with. S***'s weak! Wizzeak!

I'm an asshole but I kinda hope paints like this are sold one-time-only. Like the Nightrunner paint for the MSR I hope the only people who ever have it are the ones that got it way back in the day, same with the 400i Meridan. The moment they reintroduced the Ghoulish Green for the Cutty I melted the paint. The limited-edition part disappears and it lost value in my mind. I think it's cool to see a paint in the verse and know when and where it's from, like how they do it with the BIS paints every year. The green alien paints from Alien Week I hope never come back too. If you got em you got em, otherwise too bad wait for next Alien Week when there'll be new ones.

The Meridian paint is my favourite paint, but I wish every Misc ship had that kind of shininess by default. The Misc paint is so dull and ugly.
