Why is the fitter liking 9 yards of roll out on a 7 iron. How would you ever stop it on the green?

Roll out is calculated indoors by TM. With the peak height and spin he was achieving, I’m guessing descent angle was above 45° which is ideal for 7i. That said, I didn’t see the descent on any of the tiles.
