If you wear a hat with high insulation, you'll take a ton of overheat damage. You'll take much longer to "lose" the heat from the red deer's spell. I think you'd be better off using a thermal stone and a football helmet. Firepits help too.

I'm not ready/skilled enough yet to fight Klaus, so I find the no-eyed deer to be lovely walking jerky/meatballs that don't fight back. Sometimes they even wander right into my camp (usually camp in birch biome near Pig King). It's like having a pizza delivered right to base

Just attempted to kill him with teeth traps. Worked miserably, however, deers died and klaus didnt enter enraged mode. Might be a good tip which i didnt see anywhere

well, instead of killing him, i got something so rare and special! you see, i was walking around until i stumble by the STAG ANTLER! i was so impressed but scared at the moment, so i gathered armor and gold spears and was ready to fight him! or...did i? i was so shocked with the loot i have! i got every bundle and brought it to base to show everyone, they were shocked and we got amazing loot! bee queen, thick fur, 2 giving amulets, charcoal, gold, and the adornment of Klaus!

I went in completely unprepared... worst idea ever. I can manage to get Klaus to his second phase, but the Deerclops showed up and killed one if his deer. Now I have an enraged Klaus at about 4300 health on my game. I had been at the battle for a good four hours at least... (Rolling back the day I die to try again)

In every video I've seen so far, Klaus jumps like his legs were broken... In my game he can jump like a deer at any distance, no matter how far I am, no matter the shape of his trajectory, no matter what.... How do you force him to jump only that short, so you can kite him.... I'm a cane and cobblestones user, but he's unfightable beast!

honestly the fight only worth it if I get a guaranteed Krampus sack but just some Royal jellies and a couple of Revival amulets that's the stuff I'm going to waste trying to kill this guy AND MORE. then consider the fact that it's all random. and if I really need the steel wool or the Cyclops eye I can just go after the actual mobs that much easier to beat

Actually, would it be a bad idea to use a Telelocator Staff in order to separate Klaus from his deer? From that point you can cheese him with Bunnymen, Catapults, Other Bosses, etc. without the fear of enraging Klaus due to the move killing his deer. Is it even possible to use the Telelocator Staff on Klaus’s deer?

If Klaus or his deer get a little too far away from the others he will Enrage, telelocating the deer will EASILY accomplish this and Enraged Klaus will destroy everything you just listed with ease.

The Beard 777 Technically If Klaus is close enough to the deer, then it won’t enrage him though. Instead of building a Telelocator focus on the other side of the map, you just need to place it far enough away that you aren’t in the deer’s range, but close enough so that Klaus won’t be enraged. I’ve seen another method of separating Klaus from his deer by getting them caught on fossils to prevent them from following, although it’s a bit finicky since you have to get Klaus to walk by at just the right angle, which is why I proposed using a Telelocator Staff

Phonetically, based on the "rules" of English (not often followed) K L A U S is pronounced ou as on out because theres no e on the end. So, you're right, just because it's my name, doesnt make that right, but the rules of English sorta do so :T
