You're a lovely person that seems like you rock as a mom and role model, especially with your language and connectivity abilities with us through your videos. I've been termed a 'closet' introvert as my career required me to speak to new people all the time but be able to address rooms with up to 100 students at a time. Most people never thought about me being terrified every single time, but I was. Only those close to me ever knew. It's probably one reason my wife & I get along as well as we do since we can either talk or go off and do our own thing and we're just happy the way we work out.

OMG yes, I always got the sarcastic/condescending "You should stop talking so much" or "Not much to say?" which always made my already-high levels of self-consciousness and anxiety around people skyrocket! Ever since I was a child, too, and this would come from family members also. I just really wanted to leave and it's why now, at 48, I still hate being in large groups. Add being a single male in the mix and you're seen as either weird, somehow "less than complete", or a charity case. They think they're being witty and clever when in fact, they're simply being obnoxious. All the best from New Zealand. That Venezuelan lad better know just how fortunate he is!

That's a lot of courage right there! Something all these people who throw away such stupid comments do not have. Usually those people are actually projecting their own fears on you. They will never admit it, but their hurtful comments are actually hiding their own fear of something that you do and they would never be able to do themselves. It also shows how people simply try to fit you in the common stereotypes they are used to deal with, when they can't they come with such stupidity instead of simply accepting differences and carry on. It takes courage to learn from others and accept them, but it's quite easy to attack them. You are beautiful, successful, intelligent and extremely courageous!!

I hope you're doing well. I really love your content, it has always been either thought provoking or hilarious (making an Austrian laugh is no small feat). I found myself reflected in so many videos especially about the social abilities, emotions and being an introvert. Always feeling a bit off, I found comfort in the rabbit community until I eventually got my answer and was diagnosed a year ago. Content like yours help see people that it is okay who they are and that not fitting in eventually gives you access to others who feel the same way. As someone who had a small KZbin channel that is now more or less on permanent hiatus, I know that there can be thousands of reasons for not being active. You always expect an explanation, a goodbye video, or an "I'm taking a gap year" video, but the reality is that your life comes first. Most of the time creators want to continue and just put it off indefinitely due to priorities. This happened to me for example although on a much, much smaller scale. I always wanted to continue, but at some point you can't find the time. I have no idea what happened to Trixie, if her personal life took priority or if she is even well. I just hope you're alive and well. If you ever decide that you have the desire or even the ability to continue, I have a feeling that your community will be there and ready. Nice introvert meme I read somewhere on the internet: "Introverts constantly get told to be less quiet and to get out of their comfort zone - how come extroverts never get told to shut up and make the zone more comfortable." In all seriousness though, they do often mean well. When I get together with friends or family, it often happens that I don't say something for a long time and just listen, when another person is telling something I do find interesting or entertaining, but don't feel I have something meaningful to contribute (Of course I mean a situation in wich several people are standing in a group or sitting around a table together, not a situation in which someone talks directly at me in particular). Extroverts among my friends and family who notice that often take that as a cue to speak to me and encourage me to say something because they are concerned that I'm bored or feel excluded (because they likely would feel so if they didn't get to be active in the conversation for a longer period of time). They just can't seem to read an introvert's mood, and I get that this can be difficult, especially because I'm not always quiet in a conversation, but can get very talkative when I do have something meaningful to say about a topic. Most of the time, extroverts who poke introverts like that and try to make them "come out of their shell" or "get out among people more" mean well and just confuse being introvert and being shy, they don't get that we are happy being quiet and alone/just among few people most of the time.

Other than a bit of French I'm an all Northern European-American (Dark red-brown hair pale skin) and was ruthlessly derided by other kids for being of a vampire like hue which tended to make me blush exacerbating the situation. I grew up in the North East which is very overcast and took a trip to New Mexico at 15 and got a tan after burning and peeling several times then moved to the Upper South and to this day my face neck and arms are one tone the rest of me glows in the dark like you! I can relate to a couple of those comments. I’m a quiet, pale fellow. But one thing that really stuck with me is the couple of occasions where my mother (who is almost always very kind and loving) told me that I needed to gain weight. Yea, I’m tall and on the thinner side, like my mother’s father was, but I’m not a stick figure. I’ve received a lot of negative comments from people over the years, now that I think about it, from being called ugly, to being told that I don’t smile properly. It hurts, even if it’s not meant to hurt. 💔

I understand completely. As a fellow introvert, I often get told I’m antisocial… 🙄

People always say I look angry. that my deep voice sounds aggressive, and I am too direct. I think you look gorgeous. There is nothing wrong with you. People are stupid.

Trixi (or is it Svenja 😉), it's been a long time since you posted a video... I sincerely hope you are doing well. Sad, insensitive, or just plain mean-spirited people are not worth your time. There are trolls out there (maybe like *Bilge T* ) who just take perverse pleasure in hurting people online. I know that ignoring them is easier said than done, but try to ignore them and their tiny little minds. For what it's worth, I believe you are an amazing person... beautiful, clever, funny, and well-spoken. Your eyes are very expressive and your "quirkiness" (as you put it) is engaging and entertaining. God bless you, and I look forward to your next video 👍

Hurts me to hear you say you can't let go of the comments; you can let go any time. If you like you, who cares what anyone else thinks? (And as a bonus we like you too ❤️Be safe, be happy, be you. Love and respect from America)

I appreciate hearing your side of things. I wonder how representative it is. I'm definitely the kind of person that would make those kinds of comments. It's sad that making a comment you think is light and well-intentioned can be taken negatively and personally by the listener.

"You know, being an extrovert is so much more socially accepted than being an introvert." Being an introvert is not necessarily something one can just turn _off,_ though.
