That Camaro V6 cost the same as a Corolla (around 140 hp) here in Argentina (the Camaro V8 I think it's over $100000 USD). It's just sad. A horse can not provide 15 horsepower for a very long time. It might be able to pull short bursts of 15 hp, but if you use a horse to do mechanical work, in the long run it will avarage on 1 hp

The Camaro and LT1 trim level is going to be a big seller I believe. It’s basically the modern day Foxbody LX/5.0- you get the power increase over the base engine (2.3/I4) but without the added weight of all the GT package brings to the car. Personally I don’t know why we started getting so into mixing luxury into our pony sports cars, but the fact is they are supposed to be performance model sports cars. With that in mind it has to be thought that at least some potential buyers of these pony cars are buying them to have fun and race them so it’s a no brained to offer a model that lends itself more to performance than any creature comfort luxuries.

Horses have around 15 horsepower when exerting Maximum/unsustainable energy, for example while galloping. While doing activities like agriculture work (sub stainable workload) they are outputting approximately 1 horse power.
