Small Tip: Start the steam wand after it is inside milk, keep it at the top for a few seconds and then completely immerse it, in this way you get a good foam and milk texture is smooth. Hope this helps
@charlotteaker73402 жыл бұрын
And don’t tap the jug afterwards! All the foam will sink down and make it difficult to make latteart🫶🏻
@TheAlixAmanda2 жыл бұрын
Came here to also say this! I don’t agree with the no taping thing tho. You tap the jug to get rid of micro bubbles which actually gives you smoother milk for better latte art, if you steamed correctly the milk won’t “sink”
@oSaluun2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but this machine runs water through (to rinse) before the steam starts.
@_shaninipanini2 жыл бұрын
please wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth after too!
@penyenchi35082 жыл бұрын
Another unsolicited advice: When you steam, inject the air up until the milk jug is the same temp as your hand. Then submerge the steam wand to whirlpool the milk to mix all the microfoam. Once the milk jug is too hot for your hand to touch for a few seconds then you're done. Otherwise, you could burn the sugars in the milk and make it bitter.

Chinese use the rice part of rice wine (very similar to makgeolli) and put small rice cake/rice dumplings and Osmanthus honey paste with it and make it into a hot dessert/breakfast thing. Obviously, you need some water to loosen it up. It will turn out to be a sweet congee with an adult pallet twist. hope this sparks some inspirations

If you like to use almond milk or any other plant-based milks with your coffee, try to find one that has "barista" somewhere in the label. These will have special surfactants in them that prevent the milk from splitting in coffee. 😁😁

It makes me happy to see you happy and the positive changes in your videos and your life. You and your partner look cute together, I wish you all the best. It probably wont be easy at first in a completely new country, everything takes time. Dont forget that on hard days. It fascinates me to see your interest and knowledge about food. I hope to learn from you to expand my knowledge about food. Do you also have interest in trying out food from other countries as a challenge? For example you could try dumplings from different countries (Japan, Korea, China, Turkey (Mantı), Russia...) if you should have interest in it. If you should ever get the chance to travel, I recommend to try the food varieties in turkey. Its very delicious.

Tips from a sbux barista 😘 1. Steam milk first. (130-150°) 2. Queue up xprso shots as close to pouring as possible. 3. Tap/swirl milk lots before pouring PS. Try the French press method for your milk if your steam wand doesn't cut it.

Hello! Just a few suggestions on the coffee. Get the Barista edition of the plant based milk .. Makes a huge different to the taste and the foam. Nozzle in the milk before foaming. See if you can get a temperature gauge to hit milk to 60-65%. For cow's milk, this maximizes the sugar level of the milk. Love your vlogs.
@ibrahimhammoudeh71532 жыл бұрын
Dooby, first of all you did well cleaning the steamer directly after using, but to make steaming your milk more of a pleasant experience start the steam while the steamer is inside the milk. And to produce good foam try to make only the tip of the steamer touch the milk while trying to make the milk spin.

to make creamy the milk you have to take the steam wand turn on the steam for a second and turn it off, without doing nothing. Then tilt the wand, take the container with the milk and put tip of the steam wand in the milk. Turn on the steam, after 3 second put all the wand inside of the milk and leave it until you feel with burn your hand, cause the milk is boiling. Turn off the steam, et voilà.
