Hey Guys! Nice and simple Mirror install. "Doubletake" Definitely not cheap but I must say I do like them! Thanks for watching. motomox.co.nz/products/double...

After a few months I have a few opinions. #1 They most definitely vibrate more at certain rpms. Not enough to worry about though. #2 they give me a massive increase in field of view without having to tuck my shoulders in. I also haven't experienced them moving on there own like some people have mentioned.

The guy who makes these is also a long distance racer. He knows what works.

Very nice. These have to be on my list for the future, thanks for the review. As you said the stock mirrors are not terrible but I have to lean a bit to see around my shoulders. Great video. Dino

Great stuff as usual, and a huge weight saving as well. The stock mirrors are good, but heavy. Well done Johny.😀👍

I don't even have an adv bike any longer but still here! Not a bad video mate. Not sure about what Oxford charge adaptor thing ya have there but I use one of their maintenance chargers.. Not bad units but I am convinced that ctek stuff is better and higher quality over all. The Oxford plug must be the cheapest solution they could find.

Nice mod! I put a screaming demon exhaust on my DR this week and it's sweet!! Really makes the thing hum nicely!

Good stuff! That has got to be my next mod! How loud do you find it?

@@NzJohny Street is baffle is fine, no one even bats an eyelid and it sounds like it should. Sport and race are something else. Good to have options if you fancy being obnoxious for an afternoon. $50 postage to NZ seemed reasonable too!

Stock mirrors are pretty bad , love the look of the new mirrors, will put them on the Christmas list, wife's gonna be happy 🤣( her fault as she is always asking what i want for Christmas, bike parts is the answer) Cheers.

That’s the same brand I have on my DR, except I have the adventure mirrors. They offer much better visibility than the stock mirrors. I also have the 1” (25mm) risers to help them clear the controls.

Nice! The adventure mirrors I can only imagen give amazing visibility compared to stock as these enduro ones are better than I expected.

Nice, always been curious about those mirrors. Stock are definitely to narrow field of view. Might me my next mod :) Cheers mate, ATB Jason.

Cheers Johny. Looking at pressing buy just now... but have to buy the parts individually. Which clamp and which ball option do we need?
@NzJohny10 ай бұрын
Hey mate! That's a good question! I can't remember now 😅 have a good read through all the options and you should be good 👍. I got everything I expected.

@@NzJohny how do you rate the screen? just found that the one I bought is likely to channel the wind directly at the helmet. :/
@NzJohny10 ай бұрын
@wildkiwirx I personally like it. Just for reference I am 5"11. Or 180cm. And the wind hits right below the chin. Also I added a washer to the 2 top holes because it was ""just" hitting the brake line. Everything else is good.
