can you do a brief video if possible, showing exactly how you can wire to meepo batteries in tandem so that they will charge from the existing port but charge both batteries . I will be mounting my extra battery on the top between my feet. Did you consider that and why did you go with what you did besides it looks better

the esc needs to be passively cooled be easy.

You could use some. Epoxy to make the 3 pieces 1 long piece and use foam padding to make it water resistant, great project
@DougHnut6 жыл бұрын
thats a good idea, but the 3 separate pieces actually allow for flex in the board, which i want. And i dont ever plan to riding on wet roads again, last time i did that, my ass met the asphalt. lol

What about some liquid urethane it's flexy and will waterproof the joints in the battery case
@DougHnut6 жыл бұрын
Thank, ill look into this. i guess car window urethane will do just as well

I was wondering if you could do a video showing how you wired the batteries together to make one big battery. I would like to try to do the same thing.
@DougHnut6 жыл бұрын
theres a video in my playlist that shows you how. gimme a sec ill get you a link

So you get 22 miles of range? And if you added a third one you would get 33 miles of range?
@DougHnut7 жыл бұрын
I haven't done any long range tests on 2 batteries, but i was able to get 11 miles on slow mode and 7.5 miles on fast mode on a single battery. with 2 batteries i was able to go 7.5miles and still had 40% left in the battery on fast mode. so my guess would be with 2 batteries, 20 miles in slow mode and 13 miles in fast mode. cant say what kinda mileage i could get with 3 batteries, but it definitely doesn't simply double up the mileage when doubling up the batteries

Doug Hnut Ok Thanks, also, from the inside of the battery where there are three sheets, di you put hot glue so that it would be somewhat waterproof? And lastly does youre battery indicator give you a percentage or does it say half battery quarter battery and if it is in pourcentage is it accurate?
@DougHnut7 жыл бұрын
+Blifix i didnt put any glue between the sheets, thinking of putting some really thin foam instead to allow some flex. The battery meter shows exact percentage or voltage with a press of a button. And yes it accurate. I have a video in my playlist about the battery meter. Check it out!

i want to know. why not just melt the plastic on top of the wood in the oven.
@DougHnut7 жыл бұрын
because the plastic will go back to its original shape(flat sheet) when heated up, it needs to be pressed into shape as it cools.

Nice! U basically just did everything I'm currently in process of doing as well... Got a longer blank deck with concave... I had 2 sheets of kydex that were 12x18 to make it in 2 pieces... And room for 4 batteries if need be... Super overkill distance lol ... The corners on kydex are a bitch but you gotta have a fold =\
@DougHnut7 жыл бұрын
That's awesome! 4 batteries would be crazy for distance.
