I just filled out the "climate change survey". Extrapolating from this, the plan is ("for the greater good"): 1. impose travel restrictions, and restrict freedom of movement (we had a sample of that in 2020). Owners of larger properties might start to worry now, as there might come a penalty for having too much space for yourself, or maybe "compaction" post-war communist style. 2. rationing of essentials like water, and food. Not because there will be actual food production issues (they try this scare tactic in Scotland already. SCOTLAND. Are you trying to tell me SCOTLAND has a WATER shortage???). Can you imagine any better way to make someone comply long-term with no constant supervision? Just tell someone - "comply or your child will starve" 3. "social score/credit" - it will start with "good intentions" of being based on your "climate change battling efforts" like saving water, reducing travel etc. but it will quickly escalate to other aspects (if you don't know how it's done, look at China, they nailed the technique already). 4. there will be blackouts (again, not because it's needed, but to incite fear). 5. there will be a massive crackdown on information flow (have you noticed recent changes in the T&C of Meta? I actually READ THE BLOODY THING!) under the pretence of "battling disinformation about 'new global thing' or climate change, but of course, who will stop them from extending this to ANY information? It's already happening - even sanctities like internet archives got "hacked" to remove information. 6. There will be an attack on local or religious communities to ensure those won't be the source of information for you (since I don't watch TV, please let me know when BBC will start broadcasting hit pieces slandering some religious community or a preacher for "saying the wrong thing and resisting change"). You must listen to the government, not your family and friends. That will be easy, given how brainwashed the young generation already is. I expect the same communist behaviours as in the Soviet bloc - people ratting on each other, families divided by ideology - again, already happening - noticed how we are already conditioned to hate "boomers"? I lived under the communist regime. I can see the signs. How many decades will pass before the people rise up again? If they have any brains, this regime will not crank up on people with tanks and rubber batons, they will keep the psychops going and use people against each other instead.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, the machinery for spreading ideology globally was not dismantled but continued to operate quietly-now without the West’s defensive mechanisms. Communism, as a theory, can appear appealing, and the educational system seems to have been the most effective channel for ideological spread and infiltration. Perhaps the West won the Cold War economically but lost the battle against ideological influence. As a result, education and media have gradually come to be dominated by left-leaning perspectives. Lastly, I would like to add that too much of anything can be toxic. The West has seen a toxic ideology spread among its youth, and in reaction, extremism has been allowed to take root.

If there are sides at all, because common denominator is always greed for resources, land, power...According to geographers from University College London, the colonisation of the Americas by Europeans killed so many people, approximately 55 million people, or 90% of local populations. the First Nations population in Australia went from an estimated 1-1.5 million before invasion to less than 100,000 by the early 1900s. As many as 10 million people are estimated to have died in Congo from killings, famine and disease between 1885 and 1908 after Belgian's King Leopold II declared the vast territory his personal property. Britain’s exploitative policies in India were associated with approximately 100 million excess deaths during the 1881-1920 period. An estimated 800,000 to 1.2 million Armenians were sent on death marches to the Syrian Desert in 1915 and 1916. In Indonesia at least 500,000 to 1 million people were killed, with some estimates going as high as two to three million, a top-secret CIA report from 1968 stated that the massacres "rank as one of the worst mass murders of the 20th century, along with the Soviet purges of the 1930s, the Nazi mass murders during the Second World War, and the Maoist bloodbath of the early 1950s, it has been referred to as the "biggest US-backed genocide" as a result of US support And the list goes on and on: Algeria, Benin, Angola. Modern society has disconnected people's lives from their consequences. People get paid based on hourly or monthly participation (hourly wage or on salary), not based on performance. People buy things at the store they have no idea how they are made or where, including groceries. People become qualified experts by passing classes and getting a degree rather than their capacity to do the job. This teaches people to value "ideals" over results - this leaves people vulnerable to the biases of those teaching the ideals, including those who are pushing concepts for corrupt selfish purposes for their control instead of public good. Add to this that society has also nearly destroyed any sense of community - we no longer rely on our neighbors for anything, most don't even know their names. This removes the external validation of guilt, shame and pride meaning that people lose their appreciation and value of integrity and honor. We are becoming very selfish and stupid people.

Thank you both for the amazing insights and your commitment to protecting freedom! It seems we are still struggling between democratic socialism and free market capitalism as described by John Maynard Keynes vs Friedrich Hayek. Strangely, with FDR's New Deal, and the government funded and privately funded industrial and technological innovation in America, we seem to have achieved a hybrid. The biggest issue today that is depriving the American infrastructure, and investment in education seems to be the concentration of wealth among the executive class and ownership class. How do we approach that without becoming a totalitarian society? Adam Smith mentioned the invisible hand in The Wealth of Nations. He was not referring to free markets being controlled by price, he was actually referring to patriotism. He was reassuring society that patriotism would lead successful executives and owners to reinvest in their home counties. Sadly, corporations, and stockholders, do not seem interested in reinvesting in the infrastructure and education of the home countries, and taxation is seen as a socialist means to limit profit, instead of a necessary means to sustain healthy national growth. Possibly a more equitable compensation and wage structure could help similar to Japan in the 1970’s, 80’s, and 90’s.

Smith was also totally opposed to rentier capitalism, which seems to be the dominant form in many western countries today. His ideas always stressed the greater good, how well it benefitted people at all levels of society, and thereby society as a whole. The push by stockholders to simply create more profit by any means was not something he foresaw. Smith always saw capitalism as being a productive process where products were manufactured and profit accrued from the efficiency of the process. What we have today is something completely different with statistics for GDP etc ostensibly showing healthy economies, while a growing proportion of the work force (up to and including the middle class) find the power of their incomes and quality of life shrinking.

I always knew I would not die in bed surrounded by family. I do not have wife or children and I feel very sorry for those men who cannot protect their families. Nuclear holocaust is the reality before us. Society has somehow made itself ripe for the unthinkable. Last night the war was accelerated again. Escalation will now flow until it becomes beyond human control. We are waiting for the next two steps in this dance of death. After these two steps have been played there will be a pause ( like for effect..). We will not have time to talk about the third step.

Peterson: I think it takes a team of productive people to accomplish stuff. I was in corporate America 35 years or so. Many types, many skill sets, every religion and ethnicity all working together- it’s one of the best things about corporate America. Having said that…let the cream rise to the top whatever the ethnicity.

What do the Middle and South American drug gangs/cartels accomplish within your team? Or the Islamic terrorist sleeper cells across the USA, all of whom walked across the Southern or Northern open borders? They contributed to my job a lot, I was a forensic psychologist for the State, but I’m wondering why you think that having those people in the country is a good thing.

Marx sought to break the chains of men, but his own model became an ideological straitjacket, a totalizing vision of history and society rooted in reductive and rigid foundations. By ignoring human complexity, the autonomy of ideas, and individual aspirations, he constructed a system as oppressive as the ideologies he criticized. Believing himself to hold a "science" of society, he failed to grasp the plurality and unpredictability of human existence. His project is not a path to liberation; it is a mechanism of intellectual subjugation, a mirage that promises emancipation but, in reality, traps humanity in a new orthodoxy. In short, Marxist thought, presented as an unshakable truth, is nothing more than a fixed utopia, confined to a logic that overlooks the diversity of human existence and imposes a single model upon an infinitely complex reality. It is absurd, in hindsight, to see the idealists and communists of today critiquing among themselves or attempting to uphold what has long since lost meaning. The very idealists whom this ideology was meant to uplift end up despising it. One of the bitter ironies lies in the fact that thinkers like Sartre, de Beauvoir, and many others supported a totalitarian regime that ultimately targeted and killed its own philosophers and intellectuals. They may have had noble desires, but those same desires turned against the very people who held them. I await the philosophical renaissance that will come to objectively confirm these observations. And, like Hegel, I believe in the historical antithesis of forces.

We need to keep repeating this truth. American founders saw the harm of government barriers between mobility of class exceed their value. Parents were given the responsibility to train their children to be capable of maintaining class status. Historically after about three generations the average heirs deplete the nest egg, however; many examples exist that families have maintained class status over many more generations. Also must be repeated is the Bretton Wood, 1945 bargain that resulted in free safe world trading over the oceans. The results is a more equitable distribution of wealth, growth in world population, an reduction in poverty. (about the same number of poor and rich today as what existed in 1820.) The level of genocide in this period is significantly lower then the century prior for nations participating in the Bretton Wood consortium. (Russia and China communist economic and totalitarian governments not included.)

How about making a video or videos educating your audience about the horrors of communism? I’ve spent a huge amount of time reading about Nazism and only a small amount of time reading about the horrors tied to communism. Not setting the two as a competition of degrees of evilness, as it may sound given what I am about to say, but of everything I have read about those subjects and anything at all, it was only when reading about communist horrors that I ended up literally and repeatedly gagging as it was so extraordinarily beyond words horrifying and vile.

When reading the election programms of the Nazi group in Germany in the 1930s we can read a lot of programm points which makes them a leftwing party...only difference...nationalistic left. Not international left. The NSDAP letters of that political party is : Nationale Socialistische Deutshe Arbeiders Partij (National Socialistic German Workers Party). Also pointing to the left wing in the political landscape.

Without in any way dismissing this intellectual debate between two highly accredited public figures, I have to say that I am bored by the constant opposites of left and right being exposed and simply wish for a world where freedom is only tempered by sensible law. Something along the lines of The Declaration of the Rights of Man.
