A part of me is miffed this is AI...another part really does like this because it sounds great and I'd love to hear actual people do this cause a lot more of the lyrics are from the book than the Rankin Bass cartoon one which to this day is still my favorite version of The Hobbit.

I know AI isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it's the best way I can make these songs for fun! I do a lot of refining to get these songs the way I want them, not just uploading the first thing that AI spits out. Colm McGuinness and Clamavi De Profundis both do great Tolkien songs, and I support them too! I would love to hear some real Irish folk-rock bands do some interpretations of this, too.

Agreed! This one took over 30 generations and some re-mixing to get it how I wanted, but I'm still impressed by what it can do! I know AI isn't for everyone, but I am enjoying that it makes fun projects like these possible.
