Hi Tom The buckle is from the Turnverein gymnastic association. The motif on the face is a cross made up of four F's. The four F's stand for "Frisch, Froh, Fromm, and Frei". Translated this means "Fresh, Happy, Pious, and Free". These buckles (as is yours) are often marked O&C ges. gesch. Buckle was worn on a black leather belt. Regards MARTIN..........

Hi Tom. Another great video. Please don’t ever stop or change them. The informality is what makes it so great! Cigars. Drinks. No script. Just everything off the cuff so to speak. I can only speak for myself, but I enjoy these videos more than anything on the internet. They bring me back 50 years. When I was 9, my grandad started me with guns and hunting. Down the cellar is where we did all the preparations. Cleaning. Reloading. After the hunt all the guys would go down the cellar and share stories of the day. When I watch your DTC episodes, it brings me right back to my grandfathers cellar and all the great times we had. So don’t ever change. Keep it informal, nothing planned. All the best to you and yours Tom. PS: this is not my real name. I’ve ordered quite a bit the past few years from you, and always it’s exactly what you say it is. Thanks again

Thomas I didn't used to drink on a school night but I'm (now) unable to watch your video wihout having a drink (I can't get Imperial here in the UK) of Jack Daniels, diet coke and ice and saying cheers as you educate us and stop us from making costly mistakes, and all whilst being completely entertaining. Bless you Sir. Andy

Hi Tom, I am enjoying the video, as I always do. You gave me a challenge with your dad's watch because it was moving around a bit, BUT: I think that it's a Lucien Piccard! A strong loupe may bear me out. 👍😁 So in a while I will rest my eyes by joining you in a cocktail. 👍😎🍸 Best, Ken

So you answer a lot of questions, but why you wear your watch on your right hand? I used to wear my watch also on my right hand until someone said to me its not ok to do haha

Love the expansion of the shout outs and going over your personal things that make you happy besides your love of the hobby. I too look so forward the escape from the insanity of the world and history repeating itself in the Ukraine following the play book from September 2, 1939. Hopefully we'll all get thru it so I can send cakes again at Thanksgiving 2022.

Those Dunhill lighters are expensive as hell. If you let that guy at the end of the bar keep your lighter it would run you about $800 to replace it with a new one. I went and looked them up expecting them to be in the same ballpark as the cheap whiskey and cheap cigars you smoke but damn was I wrong.
