The blades on those style cutters are scored to break off with pliers. You’ll see little lines where they will break off and begin a new sharp section. So it’s like many new blades in one knife.

"I guess it was a good piece before I dropped the lid twice." You crack me up sometimes Tom! My favorite so far though was the episode where you had the rare diplomatic officer's overcoat, with epaulettes and eagle, in beautiful condition, and I thought you were going to light it on fire with your cigar. LOL! Just kidding Tom. You know we love you.

This is the first time I've watched your channel. Wow! how fascinating. Your cellar reminds me of the old militaria antique shops that used to exist in my city in the UK, they're almost all gone now. I guess the owners passed on with nobody left to carry on the business. It's good to see that there are some still thriving out there.

On the drafting set … It should be noted that Günsche stayed a convinced national socialist who spoke in favor of the holocaust and his acts during the third reich until his death. I also find it hard to believe how this drafting set stayed with him all this time. His journey out of the Führer bunker is well documented as he took part in the battle of Berlin and eventually was taken into Soviet custody, failing to escape Berlin. He wasn’t returned to Germany until 10 years later in 1955. Mueller did certainly meet with him in the 90s but at that point, I think the item was a made up artifact for quick cash based on Günsche’s prominent standing during Hitler’s last days. Curious to hear opinions.

Tom, do really nice items, such as that beautiful railway visor you had a couple of videos ago, get snapped up before it hits the website, or does everyone get an equal shot at it?
@jimrutherford27732 жыл бұрын
I think you ought to keep the pist war or repro stuff, and pay the seller a little for them, and use them to educate collectors. Do seminars on the subject and these repro items would be the subject matter to pass around through the class.

@averagejoeschmoe91862 жыл бұрын
That's KZbin's censorship policy for ya, they send threats and strikes to content creators for showing things such as the swastika. It's a bunch of hypocritical community guidelines that they superficially follow through themselves but force everybody else to conform to on this platform.
