The carnivore diet has viciously manipulated my mind and body as well.
@mowthpeece13 ай бұрын
I've been ketovore for one week. On day two, my arthritis virtually disappeared. But I had the same experience when I went raw vegan. I got deficient on that diet... I would do vegan twice more and become deficient in other things each time. I am doing this as an elimination diet, but I'm measuring every factor after thirty days. Including my DNA for age. It will be definitive for me once and for all. But sugar and carbs, except vegetables, nuts, and berries, are OVER. I am a cave woman. End of story.

Bingo! One thing I did learn from going on the carnivore as an elimination diet, though, was the incredibly tiny amount of of a food that you have a reaction to it takes to cause a reaction. I accidentally endued up watching a few gurus, and I was astounded by the amount of ignorance out there. If you've never heard of him before, I highly recommend watching the Vegetable Police. At first, I thought 'who is this weirdo, and what on earth is his message?". But then I realized that he went down every diet rabbit hole full force, recording it the entire time, to expose how absurd it is.

carnivore is all about the fat. It's annoying I know carnivores that are still afraid to eat fat, they're just eating chicken... I think that's like one foot in one foot out, not fully committing because one ear is still listening to the bs. They're almost there.
@user-yk1vz7of1t3 ай бұрын
@@otallono Not really, your body already has enough fat, you don't need all that much. Plus you are trying to lose fat from your body while dieting, so let me consume massive amounts of fat? That's silly.. Try watching Dr. Eric Westman or Dr. Ted Naiman. Better yet try not eating any protein the rest of your life and see what happens I am carnivore but I also know protein is KING.

The ones attacking you are not necessarily being manipulated. Often we find a diet that works for us and we treat it like it's the only real way to lose weight because it's been the only real way to lose weight for us personally. We just need to understand that what works for me may not work for everybody else because while we're all human, we're so different biologically and, specifically, metabolically. Personally I do a fairly dirty carnivore diet and I feel good which is why I stick with it but I know it's not for everybody. The only constant I would apply to all people would be if you're manipulating calories, do it with carbs since they're not essential.
@otallono3 ай бұрын
and when we see thousands of others do carnivore all saying the same thing, that the weight just falls off, but it didn't when they were eating lettuce. Carnivore just makes logical sense, too. High nutrition, food that we can digest easily. It's funny we know healthy fats are good for us when we get it from fish but most people are scared of it when it comes from other animals. It's all good. People associate health issues from deep fried foods with other "greasy" things like beef patties, bacon, yeah except deep frying oil is is toxic, natural fats aren't. Then there is the cholesterol myths that 98% of people still believe for some reason.
@dylon12293 ай бұрын
I get what your saying, but I think you don't understand how many people are plagued with autoimmune health issues that are caused and worsened by foods that may include grains, legumes, dairy, nightshade vegetables, chemical farmed foods, gmos, dairy, seeds/nuts, seed oils, gluten, chemicals/ toxins in the environment, etc.. Depending on ones food sensitivities and/or autoimmune issues determines how strict they have to eat.

I've been asking AI for analyses over fallacies people do in nutrition videos. Here's one for your video: The speaker in this transcript commits several logical fallacies in their argument. Here are some of the key fallacies present: 1. Straw Man Fallacy Example: The speaker mocks nutritional gurus by saying they tell you that what you are eating is killing you, even though they admit that no one directly says that. This exaggerates or misrepresents the arguments of these gurus in order to dismiss them more easily. Explanation: Instead of addressing the actual claims of the gurus, the speaker creates a simplified and extreme version of their message to make it easier to refute. 2. Appeal to Popularity (Ad Populum) Example: The speaker states that many people on social media are following certain diets and seem to have positive experiences, implying that this widespread behavior validates the diet. Explanation: Just because a lot of people follow or believe in a certain approach (such as carnivore or vegan diets) does not mean it is correct or scientifically valid. 3. Hasty Generalization Example: The speaker claims that "there are no such thing as one perfect diet for all of us," generalizing from their own experiences and a few examples. Explanation: This is a broad statement based on limited personal experience and anecdotal evidence without considering the possibility that some diets may be scientifically proven to benefit larger groups of people. 4. False Dilemma (Either/Or Fallacy) Example: The speaker presents the carnivore diet and vegan diet as extreme opposites, suggesting that one must either choose between these extremes or find a middle ground. Explanation: This ignores the complexity of diet and nutrition and falsely presents it as a binary choice, disregarding the wide spectrum of balanced dietary approaches. 5. Appeal to Emotion Example: The speaker uses emotional anecdotes about being attacked by diet communities, or about the extreme behavior of "cult-like" followers, to evoke a negative reaction toward certain diets. Explanation: Rather than relying on evidence or logic, the speaker appeals to the audience’s emotions to create a sense of outrage or fear about certain dietary communities. 6. Ad Hominem Example: The speaker attacks figures like Paul Saladino, calling him a hypocrite and a "cult leader," focusing on his financial motivations rather than addressing the validity of his arguments or evidence. Explanation: This is a personal attack that discredits Saladino without directly engaging with his claims or evidence. Dismissing his argument because he benefits financially from supplements doesn’t necessarily negate the scientific accuracy of his claims. 7. Appeal to Authority Example: The speaker mentions having spent “thousands of hours digging in this diet Rabbit Hole” and suffering from a chronic gut disease to lend weight to their opinions. Explanation: The speaker uses personal experience and time spent researching to give their argument authority, but personal experience is not a substitute for scientific research or evidence. 8. False Analogy Example: The comparison between diet cults and extreme examples like the Heaven’s Gate religious group is an analogy that exaggerates the behavior of diet communities. Explanation: Comparing people who follow certain diets to a group that committed mass suicide is an extreme and unfair analogy that distorts the reality of dietary communities. 9. Cherry Picking Example: The speaker accuses Paul Saladino of cherry-picking studies that support his views on broccoli, but the speaker also does the same when presenting anecdotes and selected criticisms of the carnivore diet. Explanation: By selectively focusing on examples or evidence that supports their argument and ignoring contrary evidence, the speaker engages in cherry-picking. 10. Appeal to Personal Incredulity Example: The speaker dismisses some scientific findings by saying, "I don’t think I eat enough meat for it to even affect my thyroid anyways," or, "I don't think eating meat may impact my thyroid negatively." Explanation: The speaker uses their personal disbelief or skepticism as a reason to dismiss scientific findings, rather than engaging with the research or offering counter-evidence. Conclusion: The speaker's argument is undermined by several logical fallacies, including straw man arguments, appeals to popularity and emotion, ad hominem attacks, and hasty generalizations. These weaken their critique of dietary gurus and diminish the credibility of their own conclusions. By relying on personal anecdotes, emotional appeals, and extreme analogies, the speaker fails to present a balanced or scientifically rigorous argument. If you like, I can alsso ask for personality & weaknesses profile. I've also done this on myself.

Depends on the person. If I eat a banana, I'm going to feel like picking up donuts later when I'm out. I must simply abstain, likely due to being overloaded with toxic sugar foods like cookies, pop tarts, cereals, and eggo waffles in my youngest years, year after year. There are countless people like me. It's nice if you're able to moderate modern carbohydrate foods, but they're still objectively bad for you, yes even if you exercise it off, yes even THAT bread, yes even THAT fruit or THAT vegetable. Your ancestors would not be eating a modern carrot's ancestors because they would've tasted the toxicity. They are all modern creations engineered to taste less toxic to consumers. Also, none of this needs to be expensive. If it feels expensive, you're probably eating too much. And if you need a supplement, you're missing something. No human being needs supplements. And Paul Saladino doesn't know what he's talking about. He admits this himself every year or so when he changes everything like a hypochondriac.

those bananas are GMO, putting molecules in the body that it doesn't know what to do with, along with tons of other foods im sure. As a carnivore I don't crave any of those snacks unless someone puts it right in front of me, i never think to go out and buy it. Never liked Saladino, either.
