Lisa, when we were kids, back in the 60’s my mom at night would sit us in tall children chairs and we wouldn’t go to sleep without drinking a juice mixture that she made by putting in a blender : beets, spinach, celery, water and an apple . My sister is 59, I’m 56 and my brother is 53. We have never had any disease nor we take any medicine . We are so healthy and have a great immune system

What do you mean? When I grew up in the 80s-90s we had way healthier food. Not too mention we were outdoors every min possible. We never even watched much TV until the later 90's when programs became more attractive. We used to wake at 8 on Sundays and be out of the house before 10 with bags of sandwiches and carrot sticks and stayed at the park until lunch time and came back out right after. Yea we drank soda pops and ate fish and chips but we burnt all them off by the evening.

So helpful, thanks. For the vegetable juice, be sure to add some oil, by adding either nuts, avocado, milk/cream, coconut, etc... because vegetables have oil based vitamins A D E and K that can only be soluble in oil base. Otherwise these vitamins will remain unavailable to the body if taken without an oil base
@tillygirl7450

This is so helpful to know. And I FEEL it's true too because when I started to add avocadoes to my smoothies, I just felt better as if I was retaining those nutrients. I have Celiac Disease and have stomach and nutrient absorption issues with this, and smoothies tend to soothe my stomach/digestion. Thanks to you, I now know it is more beneficial to me to add a good fat/oil to help absorb the nutrients of the vegetables and fruits. I'm going to try swapping the avocadoes with kefir or coconut cream/milk to get the good fats/oil in my smoothies. Thanks again. 😊💖

@@tillygirl7450 most welcome Tilly. I studied (and practiced) Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics. If you can have your vegetables as salads it's even better as many green vegetables loose vitamin C just from getting chopped. But it's better juiced vegetables than none at all; I think we can get away with a nice green juice once in a while. Wishing you lots of good health and a full life🥰

Start making broccoli sprouts. They are extremely easy to make in jars ( no dirt needed ) and they are extremely healthy and taste incredible alone as a salad (no lettuce added) . My whole family loves it with Italian dressing, sunflower seeds and raisins. Also take Essential fatty acid like Cod liver oil. And also start making Kefir. Not store bought, but homemade. You can get the Kefir grains off amazon. Also try making the Jamu Juice in this video. I'm so sorry, it sounds horrible.

Tip for getting your honey off your measuring spoon: Dab your measuring spoon with a bit of olive oil to grease it a bit and the honey will slide off with ease allowing you to get all your honey. One of my favorite health drinks is great for low iron, achy muscles and period cramps. I take a large glass of raw milk and add 1-3 tablespoons of brewer’s yeast with about a tablespoon of organic unsulphered black strap molasses. It’s an acquired taste. A friend introduced me to this and I now love it! She also told me that women that are giving labor will drink a ton of raw milk to ease labor pains. There is something naturally in raw milk for the calves that help with growing pains

We do not heat any of our beverages because it destroys a lot of the nutrients. Generally start the day with a turmeric/ginger/orange juice shot. When using turmeric, don’t forget to add black pepper as it increases absorption approximately 2000%. When we make beat juice, we just use raw beets, peel them, and then use the juicer to do the rest, generally combining with a full head of celery, a bunch of carrots, and maybe some sort of a melon or apple for extra moisture. Cucumbers also work well. I subscribed.

Thank you for this! I have sciatic nerve pain that goes down the back of both legs from the lower back down to my heels. I take turmeric with black pepper every day and it has given me a new lease on life. Sometimes, when I have to drive a lot, it still gets inflamed. I have been buying Sol-Ti organic turmeric shots that can be expensive. These turmeric drinks you have shown me will be my new go-to for that extra shot that I am having to take when it gets inflamed! I am so glad I watched this video. Thank you for sharing these recipes! ~Jeannie

Hi Tiki, If you haven't already, consider seeing a chiropractor or osteopath. Exercises, stretches, and anti-inflammatory diets are fantastic, but sometimes it does need some hands-on care. It will take a few treatments, but most patients feel significant relief within the first few sessions. Best of luck

Obsessed with this. I think we all have anti inflammatory nutritional needs, given the aggressive and manipulative food industry in America. I made the beet drink here, and ran it through a mesh sieve to extract the juice, topped my glass with a little ginger powder and it is SO GOOD. Seriously. I needed to figure out how to get beets into my body because they’re so good to lower cholesterol and clean blocked arteries. I’ll be making this by the jar as a weekly staple. Thank you. 🙏

I had gluten reactions that lasted months. I had brain fog, tendon pain, burning feet and anxiety. I went gluten free for 10 years. For those 10 years I had to go number 2 many times a day. Even after being gluten free for years I was "detoxing." Sometimes I wasted a day because I was going to the bathroom 5 times a day and in there at least 30 minutes a time. Now after detoxing I stopped reacting to gluten so much. The first time I tried it I had pizza and felt foggy and really bloated but within a few days it subsided. Now I can eat gluten without 90% reactions and those that happen go away within the day. Now I'm not afraid of being glutened. I know for a fact that my metal amalgams are the cause of my reactions. I have to save a lot of money to get rid of them as I have like 20 of them. You will get better. Stay strong.

As a breakfast drink, I often sprinkle a little turmeric powder and black pepper into water, then heat it in the microwave for about 2 minutes. This makes a tasty anti-inflammatory tea. If you want, you can also add ginger, cinnamon, etc., and / or mix any of those ingredients with coffee. But the turmeric power / black pepper is super cheap, can hardly be easier, and it works.

So- I experimented by making a jug of somethin different. Juice 8 green apples and strain the goo off the top- then mix with an equal ammount of green tea, a shot of lemon juice (of course the real stuff) 2 tablespoons of honey and blend. - it's tart but smooth- haven't had such a good clean feeling boost of energy in forever. I'd love to see your version if ya ever get a moment to try it.
