If you have more than 25% of the demand, prices are lower. Make sure you have exactly 25% demand minus 1 and price will stay the same usually.

FINALLY. It took youtibers soooo long to finally make a video about this. I have been doing this for sooooo long and I cantbeliev so many people dont know about it. I tried this with my bro in a fighter and we had fun! I got up to 408t, but had to abort b/c I almost lost shields on my Cutter. Still need that prismatic shield & engineering on my shield boosters.

What do you do with the Painite after you mine it though?

You sit on it indefinetly, cause there at 100's of filled up carriers camping systems where you can sell them. Or you sell it to a carrier under market value.

@@62cents Or you do what I do. Use EDDB and fly to the station with the best price and blow the hell out of any NPCs that try to interdict you en-route.

Go to edtools.cc/miner write the system's name and click painite, it would load a bunch of places search in the best price to sell copy the name of the system wheres the best price go there, it also gives u the name of the station go there sell all the painite, go back repeat.

The mining speed is definitely promising. My well-equipped cutter with the help of fighter and police can fill the 512t cargo rack without much hassle. But the price for painite right now is seriously not great... can only make about 100mil per 512t besides the fighter npc cut... really missing the good ol' 300mil per run price.

Got a platinum hotspot 31ls away from carriers buying for 250k. Worth losing ~30k for the speed of not having to jump multiple times and hope prices are accurate on Inara.

@@dphilipson wow. Really not alot. I have goon back to deep core mining now. Much more reliable market and with the pulse wave scanner fixed really doesnt take long. Can regularly get 1million per unit and it rarely matters if you find a different core as they all sell really well. A little trick is fly fairly high above the asteroids scanning and looking down and the cores really glow from a long way away.

I try to avoid gicing a credit per hour estimate assigned varies a lot depending on if you have a carrier and what the market prices are that day. Thats why I only use ton per hour

Not very likely due to them only respawn if every week and if you crack one it’s cracked for everyone. Do maps exist? Most likely. Would people share them? Definitely not unfortunately

I usually use the Webbrowser of the Steam overlay for quick map access. But boy. If you retract the cargo hatch before you open the map you'll boost straight into an asteroid. You don't want to know how often that happened to me 😂

Mapped platinum is much more efficient than painite. Painite's quantities always low. And you dont need to deal with pirates inside haz res sites. I have mapped some in hotspots +%45 plat and its good but booring.
