This was pretty interesting. I would like to see them bring some of the expensive and weird games to this service. It would be awesome for more people to play and maybe like snowboard kids enough to get a new game. Won't hold my breath on that one though.

@@TynologyGaming me too! And i think Nintendo showing some love to these games helps bring some things to the masses. I'm pretty sure fire emblem for example got really popular in the US because of smash. We need more eyes on these cool obscure games!

I still feel gross about the fact that I’m effectively renting the Animal Crossing DLC after upgrading because I am an avid player of that game and I don’t want my content to be held for ransom. I actually would have been more excited about this service if the DLC wasn’t involved. However, if they can add all these games, GB/GBC support and more DLC, it’ll be harder to cancel. I hate this subscription-based culture we’re living through but I also feel powerless against it.

I agree - I thought about buying the DLC separately, and I feel like they’re going to keep putting “features” like this to make you feel torn about cancelling for sure

@@TynologyGaming The thing which ended up hooking me into the subscription was the pro-rated discount. Why would I buy the DLC on its own for $25 when I could spend $38 and get the chance to play all these games I've missed over the years in a convenient way? Now I sort of feel like a chump who fell right into their trap. I guess I can buy DLC while I'm subscribed to secure it, especially if it goes on discount, but that would be absurd on top of $50 a year.

@@ValiantPixel I had already committed, and I'm on a Family Plan which was set to expire in 3 months, so I had to drop $72 - that was painful for sure...

I understand why they didn’t release the Mario party games right away (because of superstars which I m very excited to play) but man, just having Mario party 1 would have been enough for me to justify the value of the EP. Never played the 64 ones so having them right away would have sold me immediately but at least we know they will eventually come… probably. And I would also love to see sonic spinball and 3D blast, I did played them in the mega collection from GC but having them portable was my dream as a child. BTW, good content although the sound in general is a little bit to high, the rest of the video is absolutely great. Edit: I know I could play the sonic games on the genesis collection which is 15 bucks but I prefer to have them in the NSO. don’t know why but I like it better that way.
