I think she ought to have had the keloids tattooed with pretty images or piercings. She could have a chain between her nose and one of the keloids. I’d certainly not have let them get to that size without doing something creative with them, and looking at what she is like already with piercings and hair colour ... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi! So, that's me in the show. I actually initially got the piercings because I liked the way they looked and as a way to get over that fear. I had the exact keloids on both my ears as well. Had them removed just like her but i went through multiple radiation sessions which slowed the growth, but what really reduced them once they started growing back (cause they will 99% of the time) was cortison injections (corticosteroids). For anyone watching who suffers from this, i implore you to speak to your dermatologist/plastic surgeon/GP about this. If you have a shitty dr who wont even consider it, go to someone else. IT WORKS, its the only thing that does.

Im surprised she didn't freeze them like she has with other treatments. Its a needle that is stuck through the keloid and freezes inside out then falls off

In getting those cortison injections right now. After the first injection i saw an improvement but after the 2nd and 3rd i didn't get better :( i have two 2 injections left, but i don't think they'll work. I think i have to get them frozen from the inside

@Msshabzii 4 жыл бұрын
@@Bananemitsahne I’m sorry to hear that it’s not working for you! With the scars that she has on her ears and that I had as well, majority of the keloid needs to be removed first THEN cortison injections should be started. I do believe the radiation truly helped to slow down cell growth in those areas as well, maybe talk to your surgeon about that option as well? Also, during your injections you should notice that some areas of the scar get soft and flat and other areas are hard to the touch. Your injector should be focusing on the harder parts and injecting there. I hope this helps and that it gets better for you!

A keloid is an over healing scar. I had to have them removed three times from my ears it kept growing back. Thank God it’s been over 10 years since my surgery and the keloids didn’t come back!! my LAST removal procedure was done in a hospital and I had stitches and had to wear compression earrings for a while. I pray hers doesn’t grow back.

Wondering if the keloids were triggered by bad piercing jobs?
@jamie-leighlandeg7260
@jamie-leighlandeg7260 5 жыл бұрын
They occur where trauma, surgery, blisters, vaccinations, acne or body piercing have injured the skin. ... When a keloid is associated with a skin incision or injury, the keloid scar tissue continues to grow for a time after the original wound has closed, becoming larger and more visible until it reaches a final size.
