On this episode of On Purpose, I sat down with Dr. Rangan Chatterjee. Dr. Chatterjee is one of the most influential doctors in the UK and wants to change how medicine will be practiced for years to come.
He shares that people without a strong sense of purpose have poor health outcomes, lower levels of income and happiness. Dr. Chatterjee simplifies health, what stops us from taking action, the best morning & night routine and the importance of setting the bar low at the start.

I appreciate Dr. Chatterjee's honesty - gives advice but also acknowledges his own deviations from it from time to time. As always - thanks Jay! Excellent

The key is not putting the law of attraction on a pedestal. You don’t put oxygen on a pedestal, you just use it. The same with LOA. Just be chill! ~ Much Love from a Growing KZbinr💜

So happy to listen to this. With two small kids I've struggled for years to find a good morning routine, eventually giving myself the excuse that I'll be able to have one in a few years. However, as my youngest (2 y.o) finally sleeps a bit better, I started getting about 20 minutes to myself in the morning before she would wake up. As I still need to do about 10 things before breakfast in the morning, I made a pact with myself to do yoga while my coffee is brewing. 5 minutes - easy. IT HAS CHANGED EVERYTHING. Now as my kids are back to school and nursery, they need to get up early, and now they have started to join in on my moves. The moment I put on the kettle, the youngest walks over to my yogaspot on the kitchen floor, and calls me over.

How wonderful is to listen and know that are health profesionals, physicians in fact that see and aproach the human being for an holistic perspective. Please make It viral, we are so much more than a system of organs, and health It is so much more than being repair or cure. It is inspire to listen a doctor be really interested for the complete being of the person that set his/her trust on him/her.

You can be fat and be healthy and you can be skinny and completely unhealthy. There is nothing wrong with being fat. You can be eating complete "healthy" and still be fat and you can eat "unhealthy" and still be skinny. It's different for everyone. I just wish these motivational videos would stop shaming people for being fat, being fat isn't the issue.
