Great business lessons from this conversation Trevor. Shingi is very articulate and a man of Solomonic wisdom. You have just inspired me to look for a mentor and accountability partner as I get in to 2021. Bring more of these business Gurus on the show in 2021.

I agree with this gentleman...the fear factor was brought about by the late president Robert Mugabe...he commanded respect and wanted everyone to fear him...and that’s what’s happening with the current president and those behind him...Once we remove that elephant in the room...we can move on.Zimbabwe needs its people to understand that we can only achieve greatness if we work together and also understand it’s good to disagree on issues but move on for better not worse.Thank you again for this interesting interview.

You cannot heal when the causer of the wound is still wielding power and saying, "murikugwauta, pasi nemhandu". The state is the people's enemy. There will be no peace or progress until political parties reform and abandon the foolishness of their ideas. Without strong institutions and accountable leaders the politics of the country will continue to act like the handbrake applied on the progress generations. Forever cursed and doomed.

Agreed and that has been the case with the conversations from inception. I don’t know whether it’s by design or it is a mere failure to put people on the spot, ask the hard questions on behalf of the viewers. I suspect, we the audience were expecting a Zimbabwean version of Hard Talk , but it appears that is not the intention of these conversations. They are exactly that, conversations between mates.

It's a guided conversation. Trevor might have a different goal with the one you have for his show. So I really don't think it's revisionism.
@RudoMoto

@@chrisnyashadhinembira1850 , really hard to tell Trevor’s intentions. Only himself knows his objectives. Although as a broadcaster with an audience, he unfortunately has a constituency that he has to meet at a halfway house. It then becomes an issue of conflicting objectives. In @Alrighty’s defence, the veracity of @Shingi’s statement that “at the age of 10 years, had it not been for his grandmother who locked the door, he would have gone to join the liberation army “, is highly questionable - though one could argue child soldiers, although neither ZIPRA nor ZANLA conscripted child soldiers.
