Dr. Sunil Gupta (MD, FRCP(Glasgow), FRCP(Edinburgh)FRCP(London) , FACP(USA), FICP, FIAMS, FIACM) is the Managing Director and Consultant Diabetologist at Sunil's Diabetes Care n' Research Centre, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
Dr. Sunil Gupta & DCRC team are a core of excellence for the people with diabetes from last 2.5 decades, not just in offering best in class services, facilities and expertise but also the educational opportunities for medical professionals, nutritionist, nurses and carers with keen interest in diabetes management.
He has organised and contributed towards 2181 programs (918 Hello Diabetes Education Programs for diabetics, 884 Continuous Medical Education programs for doctors, 330 Diabetes Screening Camps, 49 Diet Exhibitions and 221 mass education programs through AIR & TV) since last 25 years; i.e. 78 programs/year or 1.5 programs/week.
Through his mass education Hello Diabetes campaign, lakhs of rural & urban populations of discrete culture, teachers, Juvenile Diabetics, school students, dieticians, nurses, Pharmacists, Government officials, NGOs, MNCs, Banks, LIC, WCL, MECL, MOIL, Railways, police community, CRPF Jawans, Journalists, and even jail mates have been benefited.
Our vision is to spread the awareness of diabetes and it’s complications for early detection and treatment, so that more lives may be saved. We are actively involved in conducting Diabetes Education Programs to empower “People with Diabetes” as well as their care takers with the knowledge of diabetes, to enhance their quality of life.
