Nice, Dr. Vstrom, enjoy your new bike! This may be a marketing thing but the road version of V-Strom 800 in the US is simply called "800" without the RE. And so far I saw it in 2 colors: the plain 800 model in green and the touring version (that comes with handle bar guards and cargo box) in black. The MSRP for the plain model is $9900 and for the touring model $10500 if my memory serves me well. The touring model looks very much like your bike. I found a local (relatively speaking - 2.5 hour drive) dealer who promised to get one from the warehouse for me at a good price and I have made a security deposit. Let's see how this all materializes.

Great to hear, yes in some countries its Vstrom 800, some others RE and some others SE. It does not matter its a nice motorcycle and I love it. Congrats on your own and you ll get to see lots of videos that will cover many subjects. For now enjoy the upgrade series as well as a review video like never done before for this or any other model. Thanks a lot! The dealer said it would take them a week to get it from the warehouse and then probably some time to assemble and set up but I am still kind of wary because the price they quoted was better than from all other dealers who were pretty much in the same ballpark. It's hard to trust people these days, lol. But we shall see. Did you feel sad parting with your 650? I've only had mine for one full season but I still feel like it's become a part of my life.

Yes it was hard the last day. If I would I would have kept it also. To assemble your model they need 1 hour tops

I had 2 bikes at the same time once and this was not very practical as you can only ride one at a time but have to maintain both. And also hey take quite a bit of space. And a bike needs to be taken to the road a lot to enjoy his or her life, lol. As for the time to assemble the bike, my understanding is they are not making significant money on this deal so it's somewhere at the end of their priorities, I would assume. Anyway, we will see. It's been raining almost non-stop since the end of the winter here so my mood might be a bit on the gloomy side right now, lol.

The handguards are the genuine suzuki ones and there are some stickers that I have installed on them from labelbike.

Congrats... Beautiful bike. Have you replaced the 650 with the 800 RE, or you still have that one? If you don't have it anymore, do you feel any regret? What were the main reasons you got the 800 RE and what are the things you miss in the 650? I'm very happy with my 650XT, but I trust your judgement.

Thanks so much :). So I dont have the 650 anymore but is near me and I probably will be taking care of it. Now regarding the 800 I am preparing a very detailed review video where I go through the reasons it is a more complete premium bike than the 650. It will be out soon :)

1 level up, Engine Power, Brakes, Economy, Sporty, More features, Better suspension. It is the golden standard. Many Vstromers were waiting when I get one so that they also buy one :) hahaha

Σε ποια πολη εισαι? Γενικα θεωρω must το κεντρικο σταντ και απο κει και περα εαν θελεις να βαλεις καγκελα ή ποδια πρεπει να μπει μια βαση. Χωρις αυτην δεν μπαινουν. Οι χουφτες ειναι περισσοτερο διακοσμητικες.

Αναλογα την χρηση που θα κανεις. Εαν δεν πας καθολου σχεδον εκτος δρομου κεντρικο σταντ (φθηνοτερο απο cosmos accessories) προστατευτικο ψυγειου και καγκελα. Βαλιτσες εγω προτιμω givi 56 ή 58 γιατι χωρανε 2 κρανη μεσα και πολλα πραγματα. Στα επομενα βιντεο θα δεις τι εχω βαλει εγω. Χάλκιδα αγαπημενη ερχομαι συχνα. Θα κατεβω μαλλον την επιμενη εβδομαδα με την μηχανη

Καλορίζικο το νέο σας απόκτημα. Επειδή ενδιαφέρομαι και εγώ για τη συγκεκριμένη μοτοσυκλέτα, ήθελα να σας ρωτήσω το εξής: έχετε παρατηρήσει κραδασμούς σε τιμόνι, σέλα & μαρσπιέ μετά τα 120 χλμ./ώρα; Ευχαριστώ εκ των προτέρων.

Κραδασμοί μόνο στα παρακάτω: στο δεξί χέρι δείκτης αντίχειρας θα μουδιάζουν σε ταξίδι συνεχόμενης πορείας 1:30 κ πάνω αλλά καλύτερα σε σχέση με τα Vstrom με κινητήρα v. Μαρσπιε στις 2,5 -3 στροφές κ κάπου στις 5 σε συγκεκριμένα σημεία. Σέλα τίποτα. Είναι όλα φυσιολογικά κ πολύ καλύτερα απ' το παρελθόν. Είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος. Ευχαριστώ κ για το σχόλιο.

yes but if you watched my videos the maintenance requires to remove many parts in the v engine vstroms. Take the fuel tank off and many plastics. This is much more friendly and the engine is also very nice
