Mike... Words escape me!! I've met some people with a real zeal for life (in my 70 yrs)... but YOU, my friend... are on a whole other "plane" all together!!...(lol No pun was intended). Has it ever occurred to you, to just be You and do presentations to today's hopeless young people about what can be accomplished with the right attitude, abilities and faith in yourself to "do it"?!? The US Army's "Be all you can be" slogan.. is Nothing compared to You!! Wow!... just WOW!! I don't know if your folks are still "with you" or not.... but, I sure would have loved to have been "a little church mouse" hiding in a corner of your home, and just observed their process of raising and training you for life.... they must be some of the most Awesome parents any kid could have had!! They must be Incredibly proud of You... and your brother, Mark and seeing the results of all they helped you both, to become!! Do you have any sisters??.... If so, are they female versions of you... with absolute, no holds barred... "can do Anything" view of life, as you do?? Love your Videos, love the engineering and carrying it out with absolute Excellence... you're truly an inspiration to the many thousands of those who have been following you, and Mark... on here. You're also Very blessed to have the Incredible (and, may I say.. Beautiful) Supporting wife that you have... she is definitely a "keeper". Not too many wives would have been so supporting and loving as she has been... and she showed her "true colors" the day you "lost" Draco.... YOU, are a Very Blessed, Man... keep her Very Close and always love and protect her every hour of every day, like you may never see her again. Stay Safe, and may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.... Bless and fly with you, ALWAYS... and keep you Safe.

Look no further than the U.S. Navy carrier landing program and the heavy-duty undercarriage systems that are used to put a multi-ton jet on a carrier deck and walk away in one piece.

Awestruck is the word i'd use to describe this. Not only do you have a vision of what you want but you also understand how it works then have the experience and technical engineering skills to make it all yourself. Anyone else talking about grease bushings and i could drift off but i was captivated by the whole video every detail!

If you figure out the spring launch, you'll essentially have turned Draco into a VTOL.

What means the most to me is your guy's "One of Us" persona (two in this case). There is more to being 'down to earth' real, intelligence is nice to acquire and by itself is usually more dangerous than good, yet mixed with experience, wisdom and passion...it is what will stop the world in it's tracks and know the petty squabbling is a waste of who we really are, even a lesson in who we are not. I'm betting a wave of this kind of good, creative, being-self will roll across the face of the earth and change things that need changing. I can see by other comments I'm not the only one inspired, so thanks again. Meet you all up in the sky when our creation is complete and flying!

I was waiting for him to walk over to another desk and say "This is my mirror and this is a line of the highest grade coke, super pure from Bolivia" rofl "It's only 3am, I have meetings starting at 7am sharp, we have plenty of time"

Good day, Mike and ALL! I just noticed there is no 'Video 13' in this series. Intentional? Unlucky 13? I am LOVING this build series!! I'm becoming obsessed with Wilgas, Draco and this channel!

Mike this is by far my favorite episode to date! I’m an ex racer of most anything with wheels and can appreciate the engineering you’ve put into DRACO! Love your passion and drive to make things work better, after watching your episodes and the flying Cowboys I hope to start my fixed wing training soon and invest in a bush plane! Thanks for all you do and share, you have woken up my passion to fly again! On a side note, sorry to hear about the incident with DRACO! Glad y’all were ok other than your wife’s broken nail ;) can’t wait to see you bring DRACO back... All the Best!
