I mean he takes his time not only to do things right but to tach us to do them right, these car building shows show them starting a weld and 2 minutes latter the entire chassis is welded up. At least here it is very detailed and you can truly learn. I am building a hot rod and a lot will relate. I even using his zip ties with the rubber coating to protect wiring. very good product. Imagine if Mike designed a bullet proof vest. Rated for 9mm but tested to 50BMG.
@RifullOfTheWest3 жыл бұрын
If you get hit with a 50 bmg anywhere even with armor body plating, will still kill you just from the recoil effect of liquidating your organs or your meat. The shock from the energy would either push the steal plate through your body, or the shock will liquefy your organs.

Scrappy build, you are again a damn genus ! As for for the Air Force personnel, that is OUTSTANDING !!! God bless America along with the crew of CROME91 & TSgt J.D Lindsey. I was in tears.

Mike has a way of making a 30 minute video feel like 2 minutes. When I hear his outtro song softly starting to play in the background, I can't help but feel disappointed that I'm at the end of the video and once again, it'll be a waiting game till the next video. Love your videos Mike!

Mike, this video was absolutely "riveting". I especially liked the assembly time lapse, I think at the end of the build you need to put out a full time lapse of the entire build "skeleton to sky - building a bush plane."

Haha this comment (was highlighted) made me automatically do the same. Just while the ad was playing😅 But i mean i could see more wing geometry in the thumbnail.. cheeky Mike or someone thats responsible for this production knows the right amount of clickbait. But tailored to those who have followed 😊 woah this comment went on for way too long. I definitely should have stopped it sooner. I've not met so many people for a while so gimme a break. Thank you! I listen to the engine rolling and it reminds me of 40 yrs ago, when I met pilots of TBM Avengers. The planes had been converted over to spray planes. Everything else was as installed. That summer a pilot had the engine go - he was in sight of the St Croix river. Between Maine and NB. The pilot had absolute faith in the plane. He put it down in the river. If you have ever been around the area - it Grows Granite Rocks. As the pilot put it - " I knew I was flying the toughest plane. I have followed yourself - as the engineering and advancements in Tech amaze me. Cheers to you and yours!

I'm also watching, from CHC in NZL, and love watching Mike's channel for the aviation and engineering passion he exudes. Such a practical genius! Our military forces have shared and fought alongside each other during many awful conflicts over the last century, so as a patriot, I have the greatest respect for all sections of the armed forces who serve, and have served in the past (including some of my ancestors in WWI & WWII), in protecting our homelands. I quite often wonder why I wasn't born in the United States!

@@tomcoryell, Always welcome! My city of Christchurch's airport is the Antarctic's launch base for the USAF and Air National Guard down to the ice, so we have quite a community of Americans based here. Gotta love the NY Air National Guard C130 ski planes and the big USAF C17s who frequent our air space and airport. We also have NASA's B74S (SOFIA flying telescope) live here for a few months down here over winter!

Question, you have the holes between the baffles at the top of your fuel tank. How do you plan to use the fuel outboard of the first set of baffles?
@MikePatey3 жыл бұрын
👍🤠 Watch close on the areas where pulling tape. The bottom of the tank all have pass throughs at the front and back and the top has them all along the high point for air. The ones that don’t have them are end of tank and the fuel sump and line points attach last.

I cannot imagine another custom builder who possesses all these skills and success in a better package as yours. You are firing all cylinder, plus one, for sure. Continued success and presence in the field you have chosen. You are Alpha.
