I agree, but I always felt Android's 17 dub is so perfect. cold, rebellious, bratty, and badass. I watch the anime sometimes and it feels like the dubbing can feel outdated at times, but 17's voice is perfect man. "so 16, what's up" does this sound like a direct translation from Japanese subs? I just love how they interpreted the character and went so true with it.

So that's the reason why she is a Majin. At some point Dr. Gero's Supercomputer cultivated some of Buu's DNA into creating 21, but because Kid Buu's urge for power is so rampant it created a manifesto of 21 herself and now is trying to break out and consume any powerful beings. That's why she uses the link system and is a good reason why the past villains were resurrected out of Hell. Using the linked souls if Goku and others failed to succeed than at least one of the villains might just help out in order to defeat the monster inside her, but as a bonus she could eat the villains as well once she turned Majin to contain her urge to feed. Which is what we saw greatly in 18's and Frieza's stories....an ingenious plot I must say.

I don't know. I feel like even if they used a different buu's cells, it'll still lead to the same result. After all, Majin Buu only turned good after many, various circumstances. Also, this is probably one of those times that something looks good 'on paper', but you have to pay attention to little details that'll possibly screw you over *especially concerning the Majin Cells). Also, I don't think combining Majin cells to Cell's cell was a good idea, since (if I remember correctly), 1st stage Cell absorbing/eating(whatever you call it) left and right.

Extra thicc Cheese pizza: Not really that insane. The Red Ribbon Army was a world-wide operating organization after all, with tons of resources and bases across the world. And Gero was most likely only the highest ranked of the scientists creating weapons for them. Most of the labs would probably go back to that time and Gero would have just taken them over when the rest of the army fell..

To be fair, the key difference is that 21 has no cap on her power, whereas Cell had the firm cap of his Perfect Form. I say firm because he could still probably get stronger, it just wouldn't be nearly as easy.

Yeah. In Dragon Ball Super his character development suggest that he is stronger than a Super Saiyan 3. And probably stronger than Buu or Gohan, making him the 3rd strongest Z-Warrior and the strongest human on Earth with unlimited Stamina, making 18 the 2nd strongest human. I wish it will be C-17 from the Super Series as a DLC. I kinda wonder why they used 17 and 18 with their Red Ribbon attire for this game as well as their mechanic for when they were Evil since the story of the game is between the Buu and Super Serie... Probably after the Zamasu's Arc.

There is a difference, everyone can get stronger, with training. Cell reached his perfect form and absorbing other creature is useless to him now, all he need is training. But android 21, much like buu, can keep absorbing others to get stronger. Cell motivation and goal has been set by dr.gero, to gain the perfect form.

Yeah, the English dub seems like a rush job, unfortunately. Like the guys in Japan sent them the finished scenes and script and stuff too late and they didn't have much time to work before launch to improve the localization and really give the actors a sense of context or direction for the scenes they're in.
