I had to check, because Dio has 2 voice actors technically, Takehito Koyasu is just the more well known given the popularity of the David Production series versus the movie that seemingly never got a proper release since the contract was cancelled for distribution. But Hikaru Midorikawa is still doing work in anime himself, though it's hard to say what his big roles are. He did Kaiba in the Toei YGO (that adapted mostly stuff that didn't matter and had Miho, who was swiftly forgotten in the Gallop adaptations)

Next time we'll likely get to party building. Wonder what Naka's final party will look like? The usual party is Thief, Mage and Priest as a starter. Covers magical needs and can earn some rare items. I'm almost expecting a female Gadabout... if you are wondering, that would be the equivalent 'Final Fantasy Umaro' of this game.

Gadabout is definitely one of the professions/vocations that screams Dragon Quest in the same vein that Dragoon or Black Mage are very Final Fantasy

I was curious on the antidote thing and it's arguably broader in what it means: the anti is against, the dote is a conjugation of the Greek didonai, to give. So it's something given against, or given as a remedy, which feels more like a stretch, but it's from Greek to LAtin, I imagine

indeed. Anti- and Didonai combined to give us Antidotos (Given Against) which then became Antidoton, and thus became Antidote in the translation from latin into english.

Some deeper context I found with my own googling suggests that it comes from the phrase φάρμακον ἀντίδοτον or Pharmakon Antidoton. Translated more literally, this would be something like "Remedy Given Against". Pharmakon in this context is Medicine, thus the nuance of Antidoton's components imply; something that is Pharmakon Antidoton is "A medicine given to a person in response to something," such as poison.

Even without looking it up, I think a promontory (roughly pronounced praa·muhn·taw·ree for U.S.) was something where you can look down on something, like a balcony. And I was barely half right, it's more a descriptor of a particular landscape: " a high point of land or rock projecting into the sea or other water beyond the line of coast; a headland. a bluff, or part of a plateau, overlooking a lowland."

So antidote as a word is Greek in origin. "Anti" means "against" as you've pointed out, but Dote comes from "Dotos" which comes from "Didonai" which means "Give" So Antidote effectively means "Given Against." EDIT: Or Ogre can point it out too later in the vid...

Builders 1 prevents you from zooming when you have a roof over your head. In Builders 2 that prevention isn't present. You can zoom from anywhere to anywhere.

“Antidote” more accurately translates as “given against” As in, you _give_ the antidote to go _against_ a specific poison

Because I've been replaying Builders 2 and watching videos on Builders, I can tell you: Neither game bonks you when you teleport away. Probably because they didn't want to trap you if you dug too deep in the first game, and there were parts in the second game where you had to go underground with no easy way up.

Yeah, World Trigger is such in the Western world I feel like it's a niche fandom, especially given the delay of over 2 years or so since the author's upper spine was messed up from all the work, kind of like with Togashi, iirc. The anime had a decent starting, then it had to do a filler arc and now we'll be lucky we get another anime in...2 years? Still Shueisha, just moved to a monthly magazine (sometimes 2 chapters in a month and then a break)

I suddenly understand why the walk/ run cycle felt more of a crawl/ walk because of your playthrough... IT'S TIED TO FRAMERATE. Honestly, I can't stand when a game shames you for trying to play it like a video game. Forth-wall breaks can be fun once in a while, but when you're purposefully going against what players find fun, then it just comes off as pompous, as if the creator thinks they're better than the medium they're working on and that the audience is stupid for liking games in the first place.
