Also, that marriage reference when Vegeta says "What is that some kinda food?" Is a reference to the original DragonBall, when Chi-Chi proposed to Goku, he originally said yes cause he thought it was food 😂

It's a pretty common misconception people make, but Trunks's last name isn't Brief, and neither is Bulma's. Dr. Brief's first name is Brief, and he also has no last name. Very few people in the Dragon Ball universe have a last name. The main exceptions are the Son family (Grandpa Gohan, Goku, Gohan, and Goten), characters from Toriyama's previous work that make cameos, and a couple of one-off filler/movie characters.

That's intentional. Bulma's family are named after types of underwear. Just like the saiyans are named after vegetables.

A couple things because I know you guys have been watching this show for a while: -The "Oh myyyy" was indeed George Takei. It's a reference to a joke from the second season, where King Kai kept getting George Takei instead of Goku. -At the beginning of the video I was really thrown off for a minute because you said "Goku destroyed the android." And I was like..."Goku got destroyed by the android." -In the actual show there was alot of animation errors, and Gero would suddenly regrow his hand. Kaiserneko had to manually correct alot of animation errors for this show. -The end scene with Nail and Piccolo listing off attack names was in reference to other animes. Gum-Gum Pistol is One Piece, Wind Scar is Inuyasha, Spirit Gun is Yu-Yu Hakusho, and Rasengan is Naruto. -The music becomes a big part of the background from this point forward, glad you guys are catching it. 90% of people don't. -Dr. Weelo was a reference to The World's Strongest movie that you guys watched. Love your guy's reactions as usual!!

Akira Toriyama was intending to make Dr. Gero, & Android 19 the main villains of this saga, but someone on his staff said they didn't look quite like villains, so he had to do Androids 17 & 18...that same member said they were just kids, and wouldn't be taken seriously as villains. ...So Toriyama landed on *ABSOLUTE... PERFECTION!!*

In the 90s classmates and I used to gather and exchange stickers of DBZ to paste in an album you could buy anywhere. It showed things that had not been released yet like this arc while the namek was being a thing, and gotta say 19 looked really menacing to me until it turned out to be a joke.

fun fact 2 goku agreed to marry chichi because he thought she was talking about food when they were kids (and in a way she was, she was super into the traditional idea of a wife and mom that stays at home, cooks for the children and makes sure they have a good future, etc etc since her mom died when she was very young), so when she showed up at the martial arts world tournament when they were both like 17-18 and she was like "you promised to marry me, goku" he was like "tf is that, idk what you're talking about" because to him that's like someone telling you "hey one of these days let's go get some food you've never heard of" and then they show up 6 years or more years later so you just don't remember it after their fight in the tournament, he was like "Yeah sure let's get married" still not knowing what marriage is one of the most fucked up things dragon ball super did to goku's character is that eventually vegeta does become a decent father of 2 and a decent partner while it comes out that goku, also father of 2, 40 something-year-old grown ass man, has never kissed chichi and doesn't even know what kissing is which low key makes their relationship kinda fucked up from every angle imaginable, I'm not even gonna go into the problems that that implies

well, we do have pain sensing nerves but they are not entirely well named, they don't "sense" pain in the same way you may sense temperature, they just send the signals that require the pain response, but yeah the sensation of pain is the way our vertebrate brain developed to make us listen to those signals as you did say

Two things that I’ve never realized before about this episode. I’ve watched DBZA over a million times. First is Vegeta, when referring to how it feels amazing to be a super saiyan. I always thought because (I pictured DBZ Vegeta) would say the same thing.. so him stripping down naked in front of a full length mirror.. would be just to admire his super sayain form while he was nude. Lol but it cuts off.. so the implication being, that he wasn’t just simply looking at himself in the mirror. He was about to do something else. Which is beyond egocentric, and absolutely hilarious. That is Vegeta to a T! 😂 The next being Tien singing Yamcha’s song in his head. That’s very reminiscent of how Yamcha and Tien were rival enemies before they became friends. (In the original series) and that’s very clever how TFS portrayed that. It’s a subtle as it is hilarious lol but thank you guys for doing these videos. And this in particular. Thank you Chels. The comment you made, “That’s Yamcha’s song 🥹” made me realize that. Both of ya’ll have such dope personalities. And this is why I love watching people react to this series. I grew up on dragon ball and TFS is my type of humor so I love everything about these. Keep it up. And great taste in music you guys have as well! Also the “Are you ready to get back into this Morty?” Line. Mat, that was hilariously well delivered. 👍🏼

Dr. briefs’ wife’s name Is Panty, Bulma is supposed to be Bloomer, but the Japanese pronunciation of the English word got warped back to English as Bulma. Then there’s Trunks. If you keep with the original IP, Bulma will have two additional family members, both named after undergarments. That is the naming convention of the entire briefs family.

also bulma's original hair color IS lavander in the manga but they changed it for the anime, weird thing is that they didn't do that for trunks and when they got to super they "fixed it" but now it feels wrong also they only fixed it for future trunks which makes no sense

In the manga Bulma and Trunks has the same hair color. Anime changed hers to teal while keeping Trunks' lavender (but for some reason they still mention that his hair color came from Bulma's in the anime). Vegeta's red hair was a staff's mistake, Vegeta still didn't appeared in color when that episode aired, so the anime staff coloured the way they wanted, until Toriyama gave him official colors. About Super fixing Trunks and Bulma's hair but not present Trunks, his hair got blue on Super hero, so maybe Bulma's family hair turning blue is some random thing Toriyama decided to make.

13:27 fun fact pain is not pain just because, they are signals that tells our brain something is not right and we should stop doing it and the sensation itself of pain is how the brain interprets those signals, so as long as a robot that is self aware and confined to a single or limited terminals has sensors that tell it something is array on their system or that something is at its physical limits it is probably bound to interpret that as pain or something very similar and the catch is that if you don't give those sensors to a robot it makes it more likely to die or if you made the robot for combat it will make it less effective because it's not going to be extra protective if a vital part is closer to breaking, we know this because humans with "Congenital insensitivity to pain and anhydrosis" are more likely to hurt themselves to the point of needing medical care in their day to day
