Q: Can Gyro be used on Xbox?
A: No. Xbox controllers don't have Gyro Aim.
Q: Does Gyro have Aim Assist?
A: No. This is the entire point of having a feature like this, to bring controllers closer to the precision of a mouse.
Q: Is gyro emulating the right analog stick?
A: No, it's not emulating anything, it just has direct control over the camera, just like a mouse, thus, it doesn't have aim assist.

I play on PC with a PS5 controller. Didn't know it had gyro aiming, so when I first played archer I was like, "why is there so much movement while aiming????" Only to learn I'm dumb and it's just because of the gyro controls lol.

This makes me want to play the game! :D Since you mentioned Helldivers 2, do you know if they've fixed the gyro inversion in that game yet? I always invert the right stick Y-axis, but still want gyro aiming to behave normally. You could even argue that normal gyro aiming proves the logic of inverted Y-axis stick aiming, because with gyro you tilt the controller forward to look down in the same way you'd be moving the stick forward with inverted Y.

Capcom also has good gyro controls in Monster Hunter Rise on Switch, though you do have to adjust some settings so it only works when pressing the trigger to aim.

Shame capcom won't fix gyro aiming in re4. Guess the team there really didn't know who to a good gyro aiming works

Man if only they'll just fix that, then I would actually play on Professional difficulty for fun, playing this difficulty with the limited stick deadzones this game gives you is just aggravating. Using the snipers weapons Scope with sticks feels like crap for some reason, so i barely used snipers in RE4R unless im close range.

Only works on a PS controller with motion sense natively. Not a gyro/controller thing, but I wonder if say, using a VKB Gladiator NXT Evo flight stick, it would be possible to make it imitate a mouse at that same level of accuracy? I know it's possible to adjust the spring tension of that stick so it stays where you put it much like how a mouse is, so it would be very interesting if it could do something similar to a mouse just like how accurate the gyro function is with this game.

please help bro, im trying to star playing gyro in fortnite and the division 2 but i see the are no guides about them. Could you make a guide of the best settings of gyro in fortnite; and also can you make a guide of how to start using gyro in games with no native support of gyro (like the division 2). The thing is that i am really stuck, i dont know how to start i just wanna use gyro when left trigger pull (because im beginning) but all the guides are very confusing, what mouse sensitivy should i put in the game ( i would like to point out that ive never played this game with mouse, only with controller, so i dont know which sensitivity would be good for calibrating, etc)? what controller sensitivity should i use? what gyro sensitivity should i use?? i dont want flick stick how do i set it up? Its those questions i would be glad if you answer. thanks!

Hi! Fortnite gas native gyro support on the gyro tab in the settings menu of the game. The Division doesn't. You will need a PC or Steam Deck to play with gyro, and you will have to make your own configuration too. I recommend starting with Fortnite. If you are playing on a console, only ps4, ps5 and Switch have gyro. If you are playing on PC, you will need a PlayStation controller to play Fortnite. Most of the questions that you made, I already answered them on my Gyro Beginners Guide. But since you seem overwhelmed, try to ignore most of the settings and focus on the real essential ones, like: gyro activation button and sensitivity. Since you are starting out, use a Sensitivity of 2x or 3x. And that's it. Hope this helps!

@FlickStickVids Hey bro! Can you tell me, please, how well does the gyroscope in the Sony DualSense gamepad work when connected via Bluetooth in mouse emulation mode on a PC? Or is it better to get a DualShock 4 and look for a Sony wireless adapter for a 2.4 GHz connection? I bought a Flydigi Direwolf 2 with a 2.4 GHz connection, but neither Steam nor Rewasd see the gyroscope in this gamepad (although it exists), and the Flydigi software does not allow you to configure the gyroscope, the gyro works, as for me, not very well. Therefore, I am thinking about purchasing a gamepad with a cool working gyroscope, which can be customized, with a gyroscope that will be supported by games. However, the Sony DualSense only has a wireless connection via Bluetooth.

Dualsense is the best gyro controller around. Wireless (Bluetooth) or with a USB connection, it works perfectly.
