Seems to becoming a trend on this show. Say yes to any offer to secure the business and then go straight out and get crowdfunding for far less equity .... I see this show coming to an unprofitable end when the pubic realise that they aren't called Dragons for nothing. return rates of anything below 15% is exceptionally low for them. Yes they lose some and they win some, but 15% is massive return on investment. Pity we can't all have enough money to play monopoly like this.

Now it seems they've gone in another direction,. Not sure how that's going to help them in their negotiations with Sainsbury's. Some interesting figures on starrtups.com: 50% of all campaigns are unsuccessful; the average successful campaign is for 7,000 USD (not a hundred grand); and Europe is by far the least successful world region for crowdfunding, at 6.48 billion USD compared to the next-lowest Asia on 10.54bn.
