the battery wont explode like a bomb but rather burn really hot and long. so if you do this better do it on a large opening on concrete. that said why would you have your exhaust in your car. let someone make you an exhaust pipe outside and insulate that pipe so if something touches it your car aint burning down

Maybe it's just me but ever since people started going to "water saver" and "low flow" taps and fixtures it seems there is an increase of pipes getting absolutely coated and plugged up with grease and soap scum from not enough water to dilute and flush things to the main sewer. That being said, it makes you wonder what we put in our own bodies right? We need to then flush that out then and the fluid of choice for me? Cold frothies🍻 Nice save with your grinder mate! It wasnt at all a bad thing.. Bigger battery is always better!

yes the latest systems are fine with low flow made to handle it. but the old legacy systems are not. sewers mains used to be egg shaped to adjust to flow conditions but they were difficult to make so they stopped doing that way. some of the new systems are actually vacuum not gravity.

Mate there’s nothing better than a bit of bathroom surgery out on the side of the road with a hammer… only to be followed up by an unboxing video in the car park. Bloody genius mate! I can’t believe the Honda cooked it though… however anything is possible as the old batteries are a bit on the temperamental side of life when it comes to sitting right next to an exhaust. But on the bright side, you didn’t burn down the van and that’s an amazing bonus! So well done all round you little bloody ripper!

Yeah. You might want to use the paper towel on everything that's greasy before you'd put it into the dishwasher or sink. In the long run, the towel (and the garbage disposal services) will be a little bit cheaper than the drain cleaning (especially when it is clogged somewhere where high pressure devices, or the rotating chain thingy, can't reach). Regular oil (like olive oil) shouldn't turn into the solid "brick", but butter, margarine or any other sort of the grease that's solid before it gets heated up, is a primary target to get removed from the frying pan. Soap can take grease apart, but only 90% or so. This means if you put 100kg of grease into the sink with soap or other detergent, 10kg will still go down the pipes.

So maybe the Aussie plumbers can help me out here. How does jetting towards the kitchen sink not result in completely covering the kitchen with the grease etc. that was blocking the drain, when the blockage is totally cleared? Also in Canada our plumbing systems are very much different. All sewer drains go into the floor of the house's basement and there is a no other access to them. There is a clean out point on the vertical drop, but that is it, and it's not a common problem to plug up that sewer drain. We also have a totally separate sewer for storm water run off that down spouts from eaves troughs and also yard drains tie into. So seeing all these "inspection points and gully's" is really strange to me.
@jasonviande5053 Жыл бұрын
Sounds like you have the same system as I (US ) have. Personally I like the Aussie system better, if nothing but for all the access and IO ports. I imagine the life of a plumber is much nicer (meaning more interesting) down under
@porker5749 Жыл бұрын
@@jasonviande5053 I think all these extra access points would provide places for ne'er do weller's to vandalize the system by throwing lots of crap (garbage and all sorts of stuff) into the drain.
