the part that intrigues me so much about the DD documentary is that it’s by casey neistat who used to be a huge fan of david. apparently the documentary was supposed to be praising david but as things unfolded it became more of an expose piece as casey realized david is kind of a POS (obviously haven’t seen it yet - just what i’ve heard) definitely gonna be an interesting perspective.

The stuff that's come out about David in the past year is truly disgusting, but the fact that he ignored you quite frankly makes that man irredeemable. Stay strong king (Edit: This should go without saying, but this joke was *only* in reference to the stuff that’s come out about the David/Jeff excavator situation mentioned in this podcast. This is *not* in reference to the other horrific and unforgivable allegations that have come out. This was meant to be some lighthearted commentary and a take on that Community meme but substituting it with David ignoring him at the party. It is completely sarcastic. I’m a proud citizen of Kurtistown and please remember to be nice to me, *and more importantly, each other* because it’s the law!)

@@jill5532 But it's not okay that I'm a survivor and I think your mockery of SA is disgusting and wrong? Get fucking triggered then lol. You don't seem to care about anyone else having an issue with David. Maybe YOU should think before you comment. David has done LOADS worse than "ignore" some other white guy. Trying to compare the shit he's done when he is LITERALLY AN ENABLER is probably the WORST thing you can do aside from supporting David. Also, I didn't "assume" you said such a thing; you DID say it. You DID say ignoring Kurtis was worse than the other shit he's done (rape). You LITERALLY SAID IT in YOUR COMMENT. In fact, I'll quote it for you: "The stuff that's come out about David in the past year is truly disgusting, but the fact that he ignored you quite frankly makes that man irredeemable." To break it down, you said "David did some really awful things, BUT the only thing that makes him irredeemable is the fact that he ignored you". To break it down further, you said "David ignoring Kurtis was worse than the rape he enabled". So yeah, next time someone calls you out for essentially saying "ignoring someone is worse than rape", don't toss in "umm im a survivor and ur trigger me by asumings :(" like I'm not a fucking survivor too, dipshit.

Imposter syndrome is real, but I can tell you for a fact you deserve everything u worked for! Listen, you are the CREATOR - if you need help (like editing) that's just part of the process! I would refer you to a famous artist, who painted on the sides of planes for WII, became so popular/famous he had a TEAM of people helping him paint. He had colors of paint assigned per individual! They would surround him and give him the colors he wanted when he said to. People create in different ways. You are the artist - you own your process. Never feel guilty for that.

So Kurtis doesn't seem to know that Jeff is actually been lying about being at Dobrik's house during the s*xual assault that happened there. He was caught red handed on H3H3 podcast when Ethan was interviewing him; just after Jeff claimed not to have been at the house at a certain time, Ethan pulled a CCTV photo of Jeff standing there. That is just an example of his generally sketchy story. So yes, #TeamJeff all the way on the case of David Dobrik almost killing him and ruining his life, but Jeff might not be a good person.

I’ve been working full-time on the internet (blogger, content creator) for 5 years. Letting go of passing stuff on is HARD - it was helpful for me to reframe it to “wow I can help other people pay their bills by giving them work they like doing.” And re: the pressure to hustle - that’s gone for me too. That’s okay! I know what I need to do to get my work done & make the money I need too. Anything beyond that is extra if I have the brain space for it.

that part about taking a step to kinda cool down and not feel like you're being insincere if you don't do everything yourself really resonates with me cause i've been feeling the same way and as much as i love doing all the shit i'm doing it does start to feel like i'm being too hard on myself

I feel that same guilt over not doing your own work for your own brand, and feeling like its not your own. I need to learn how to not be like this, and im really starting to feel like I cant do it the same anymore too. I think thats why people always have others work under them, but building trust with that other person is difficult but the right ones are out there, and its obvious you found the right one for the pod. Good for you for taking a step back for a bit man. Let me know if you ever need a hand with anything else!
