"My Last Letter to a Friend" is simultaneously the funniest and most disturbing Drama Time I've ever watched. Funny for obvious reasons but also utterly disturbing in the sense that someone can be so far removed in terms of his own idea about the reactions his behaviour causes in others and then actual reactions. The authors guesses at the reactions of the chat (and as such, us as viewers) are so cataclysmically different from our actual reactions. What a guy

Iv had a friendship go bad because I let my personal anxieties get in the way of me being a good friend. If your ever trying to talk something out with someone you can come from an antagonistic and or self righteous stance. You will only resolve things for better or worse if you sit down and talk with open ears and a lack of condescension and accusations. If you hear there side then accuse them your just going to run In cycles. Both people need to be prepared to admit there faults and hear the other out so you can clear the air without the venomous accusations. If you come at your friend dispite his short coming snide, sarcastic and belittling your doomed to destroy any last chance you have to fix things.

@@cas6382 everyone's different. My school had an autism/dyslexia faculty so we had a lot of people with Asperger's and about 3/4 of us acted like this. It's not a one to one comparison, some were worse than others, it's more the fact he can recall this tale in as neutral a fashion, with all the things like not understanding why the others couldn't play the game like him and saying exactly what he thinks is factual to the detriment of his friends is very like the people from school

For the sake of clarity I was trying to make the point that as an audience we can't really diagnose the guy for how he acts in the story. Hey man, for what it's worth, your reading this stuff outloud is super life affirming. Like, yeah. We all have this batshit crazy stuff in the backs of our minds at some point (particularly when we were teenagers). It's just really healthy to hear that there are other people out there as crazy as we (I) am and that it's not totally absurd for this kind of batshit crazy stuff to run through our heads. This is particularly acute during the pandemic as so many of us are dealing with the anxiety and depression stemming from working home alone. Cheers brother, congrats on the hair.

A friend from work convinced me to return to the game for legion and transfer to his server and raid with his guild only to find out they were like the world's biggest casuals and after like 2 raids I stopped signing up. I ended up pugging my way to curve before they even cleared normal.

The second guy is a texbook narcissist. There are various signs in the story, however the most glaring is that he spent untold hours crafting this, in his mind, amazing story about how what he did and how he felt and how everything made him feel and what everything made him do. Narcissists will spend any time and effort explaining to you what they feel and what they did in reaction to something else. They will NEVER consider any other view point or perspective as being even remotely equal to theirs. For them, naturally everything is as they perceive it to be and no discussion is necessary. They will be extremely toxic and will not take no for an answer if you just ignore them, which runs counter to their whole self-perception. "You have no right to ignore me!" - is what they will scream and shout, and this letter is the perfect example of what you can expect from a narcissist. They cannot fathom it. They cannot wrap their head around how one could possibly ignore them, and they will be really hurt by it, and act hostile.

Both are writing about events and things that they did or that happened to them, but note how the second guy makes fun of himself and the first guy never does anything close to that whatsoever.

I know it'll happen one day but it seems like it's as easy as getting your wisdom teeth out to just go for transplant if you want to do it. honestly the " last letter to a friend" situation, i had something similar, i was pigeon holed into raid leading a guild, where the gm kept telling my real life friend and i that he wanted to be a mythic prog guild and such.... then he'd go off and tell aevery recruit what ever they wanted to hear, so when we were wiping to normal bosses and got aotc on the last week, by that time msot of the guild disliked me as a raid leader as i tried to help people do better and at times had no choice but to bench people..... little did i know the gm kept doing what ever he could to undermine me. until eventually my real life friend and i ( who was my co raid leader) left the guild and the gm kept talking bad on us and everyone believe it UNTIL HE LITERALLY DOXXED AN ACCOUNT OF MINE that he had the info for ( it was an EA origin account that i didnt care about) and he tried to claim that he hacked it and was trying to act all tough about it..... which was funny, because everyone realized everything that i said was true and he was actually the piece of shit and every person in the guild left.... the friend and i who left...... we joined a guild and were clearing mythic went from hard stuck 4/9 heroic BoD to 6/9 mythic in a week........ showing it wasnt mine or the raid leaders skill that was holding the guild back..... literally the few decent players of the guild followed with to the next guild.

PS, i joined this guild at the very end of legion in prepatch, and i should have known something was wrong when within a month even before raid went live...... every other officer had rotated out, my friend and i were now officers and we went through 4 DIFFERENT RAID LEADERS BEFORE THE RAID WAS EVEN LIVE

It's crap. I dont recall any queues on Draenor when I played for BFA up until the manapearl patch. Everyone experincing issues should get 2 months free as a minimum. And for 6 hrs a day the server now lags while looting things. It's disgusting.

Well, queues are probably gonna clear, but who knows what's gonna happen on raid day. Ragnaros and Tarren mill are both pretty big eu horde servers and they barely got queues.

The really puzzling thing about proving grounds in WoD is that it only restricted you from queueing for heroic dungeons but not for LFR. So you could get better gear from LFR than from heroic dungeons, so why bother doing heroic dungeons? It was such a bizarre thing to put in place

Coolies? I play frost deathknight and aff lock one class has no useful cooldowns and the other has to talent into getting one, if I am going to use them I am using them when the hell I want. (Eyeboy is trash, it was trash is bfa and it is worse in shadowlands. And as far as I am concerned the only useful cooldown fdk has is pillar and it is like a 45 to minute long cooldown.)
