Am surprised that Preach and so many people felt that the author was guiltier-- the main thing she did wrong was... let someone walk all over her and make her uncomfortable in her own home despite him just being a leech that was 6 years older than her? Like yeah it's not really ideal to engage in random lies like that but it's his own insecurities that made him jump to the conclusion about cheating, and everything else about that situation seemed awful. Giving the breadwinner you're mooching off of an ultimatum to stop playing video games while you play video games is extremely bold-- if anything at least she learned a good life lesson though hopefully while that dude is probably still miserable and toxic.

I get that cheating happens every day, but I find it unfathomable that there exists a person in this world who is at the same time *so dumb*, AND *so selfish*. also because at the end of the story they somehow stayed together. how does that happen? the author never once said a single positive thing about the man she "settled for" either. how do two people go from that to creating a child? "____ is a better man than you will ever be in every single way." can anyone say they would conceivably ever stay with someone who said that to them? I don't want to believe a man like that exists either. call my argument weak, but imo there are too many unexplained factors and inconsistencies that I just can't believe it. throughout the story I just kept thinking "there's no way this much of an actual dumb b*tch exists irl."

Can I just say, we are a mid mythic guild so not particularly serious, but we don't have any rules about boes. Some people chose to trade them, some want to equip them, most sell them. This is a practical thing. Most of our players don't have enough time to farm wow gold and don't really want to just buy it with IRL gold, so boes provide a way for some players to pay for most of their raiding for the patch with a single drop, and then not have to think about it. This enormously outweighs any minor power gain from the Boe in terms of player time saved so this is an obvious solution for guilds like ours which aren't boosting. If you ARE boosting to me it's different, but most of our players don't even do enough m+ to sell 15s because it isn't their jam, and most other ways of getting gold are horrifically time inneficinet

It's bad, a lot of the gold in the economy is historical, proffesions are dominated by people who have more resources than you, the auction house leaves you likely to get burned and boosting just isn't for everyone. I will take an extremely minor raid power loss if it means someone in the guild stays motivated to raid because they dont have to worry about doing a bunch of menial chores. Idk. I like it when people equip or trade boes, obviously, but we aren't raiding at the level where it really makes sense for me to enforce it
