When I was in high school, I played in a DnD campaign in which one of my friends played a character called "The Soup Goblin" whose whole purpose was to derail the campaign in the name of soup. There were several instances where we were forced to chase the soup goblin down to stop him from breaking into someone's house to steal their soup or soup-making supplies. So happy to see him illustrated here :^)

You should check out the Dolmenwood setting for Gavin Norman’s Old School Essentials system. There’s a creature you can play called the Woodgrue, which is a bat faced goblin-esque asshole that can cause all sorts of chaos with music (though the current version removed the causes hearers to strip naked if they fail a spell save effect that was in the early access pdf) and have to make a save themselves when they see anyone partying. If they fail the party save, they are compelled to join the party. Even if they succeed the save and are able to ignore the party, they are in a bad mood all day because of missing out on party time. Replace “party” with “soup” and it’s basically your friend’s old character!

I had to pause watching this video in the middle of it. I was going to show my friend something on my laptop and opened it to 25:40... the shocked silence and my frantic "I CAN EXPLAIN" is something I will never forget.

Suggestion: There are many characters based on the 7 Deadly Sins, how about characters based on the 7 Heavenly Virtues. Or Suggestion: Draw Horror Icons as Magical Girls.

i was taught very specifically in mammal tracking/wildlife classes that youre most likely going to find minks near bodies of water bc thats where they live and hunt for their food, theyre semiaquatic mustelids so fish makes up a good amount of their diet

gAH! Jacob! "The carnivorous mink hunts a variety of aquatic and terrestrial prey. Frogs, fish, crayfish, mice, voles, muskrats, shrew, moles, freshwater mussels, turtles, snakes, birds and their eggs, and even insects are some of the animals that occur in the diet. Fish, crayfish, frogs, and small mammals are major food items." Source: SUNY ESF

Apparently celery in the early 20th century was "served in celery vases to be salted and eaten raw."

The Jackhammer is actually the name of the finishing move used by Bill Goldberg. It's just a a vertical suplex powerslam. There has also been AT LEAST one professional wrestler going by Jack Hammer.

Suggestion: Electric Rodent/Pika Clone challenge. Pokémon has a tradition of electric rodent Pokémon. I recently learned about the blind mole-rat, an eyeless rodent with external incisors, & I thought of Julia. Find some fun rodents & turn them into electric Pokémon. Feel free to add secondary typings. Nathan: dormouse Jacob: Pack rat Karina: Brazilian porcupine Julia: Blind Mole Rat
