Drawing Pins For Shields

Cheap and simple shields for my eM4 dwarf spearmen.

Look fab mate. Nearly did not watch that because it's fairly self explanatory making the old pin shield. But glad I did or I would have missed the excellent Dwarf king convertion. Love it. That's a very good look unit altogether 👌 The mountain design is nice also. Sense you have a graphics background.

Brilliant idea. It occurs to me I’ve also seen similar thumb tacks with patterns stamped into them. I wonder how they might look.

I tried to re-listen to the part where you say where those Dwarfs are from a few times, but I can't get it. Where are they from ?

They were originally made by Grenadier miniatures, but they're now available in the UK from a company called em-4: em4miniatures.com/collections/plastic-fantasy-miniatures

Thanks James, you beat me to it. The metal side of the old Grenadier range is still being sold by Mirliton in Italy, but there's only one Copplestone dwarf as far as I can tell and the Nick Lund ones seem to be a bit smaller.

The king is from Northstar Military Figures as part of the official Oathmark range, the shield bearers are just conversions if the regular spearmen (video out on Wednesday).

Also the King matches so well because he's by the same sculpter (Mark Copplestone).
