Yes! I have a semi-realistic artstyle and i needed a video like this. Edit: Also would be appreciated if you did a tutorial on how to draw men. Not the anatomy but like the face and hair and like mature men. I can't draw men to save my life.

Love your style! I'm new to drawing and this is what I've been doing, realistic portraits using the Loomis method. I'm actually more nervous about going the other way, stylised portraits are my goal but I wouldn't really know where to start with making things fun. I'm just continuing with realism until (hopefully) I reach this level of confidence that I start trying organically.

This is really good video, please don't take this as if I am trying to attack this video - but here is where it falls flat for me and what I was expecting from this video - So where it says learning to 'Draw face proportions' I was expecting he'll draw each face - Anime Realistic and Stylized version ( I personally wouldn't mind even if he speed up the video during this process ) but instead I get a lot of text book explanation instead of practical showcase of how it's done. I noticed while I watched your other videos like - How to Draw a Face, or How to Draw Bodies, How to Draw Eyes or Animals - it covered a lot more practical knowledge and explanation while it was being drawn - and I noticed the things I also learned from the text book and these videos where I had practical demonstration of drawing helped me improve much more and much more drastically. Here I am staring 10 minutes watching same thing which is giving me exact same explanation from text book - instead of showing it more practically. How and why would you approach this method over the other.

Cause it's a thing to talk about yourself and your own journey and then thank the youtube guy at the end... I wanted to say, I am already advanced. I just watched your video about all the skills you need to draw and found it really informative. On that, I'm probably... past the basic perspective, but also mid-level in anatomy...but mid-level in shading...anyway ...somewhere up and down on the scale, tbh 😂 I kinda skimmed over your videos before and always liked them but now I'm fully focusing on them as I have come to this point of thinking 3-d, getting these structures accurate as they move through a 3-d space, accurate placing, etc. So I'm kind of going back to basics, and then also comparing to what I already know and refreshing everything to build a way more solid foundation in my knowledge. This is because I have talked forever about a graphic novel that I want to finally be able to do - but there is a certain dynamic, stylized, using light and shade well, getting things like faces at certain angles right. Well, anything at angles. Soooo...yeah dude, your videos are a really good amount of interesting and engaging, and you're basically my tutor right now since yesterday 😄 So thank you!
