Any addiction could kill you, this one manifested into death. A demonic gesture of a troll to troll the troll. You can't inflict that kind of malice in the world for it not to take shape in retribution. Moral of the story don't be a hateful troll. An introvert, living off his Mama's labor. He has no fulfillment in life, and he hates because he hates himself because he has achieved nothing on his own. He is a ghost, cowardly, invisible to the world. He has no power in life but words. Socially awkward, still a virgin with zero people skills seeking attention through provocation. What gave him life would end up giving him death. No feelings here, no pity, no hate. He chose not to tread lightly sealing his fate as if an addict injecting a fatal dose of heroine. A prisoner in his own mind, can't escape from that evidently reaping what he sowed. This story should have been called "just deserts." He created what killed him and terrorized in the same fashion he did his victims. His pleas fell on deaf ears the same way he relished in the delight of trolling. He talks tough, but that demonstrates his weakness when he exhibits terror like a frightened mouse. Paranoid delusions, just living on a high daily with no balance his mind snapped under the weight of pure maliciousness. He was a parasite living off the suffering of others and the killer was his parasite. Although, it feels more like a dual personality, a persona he creates when trolling. He becomes that vulgar darkness until it consumed him and everyone else around him, his mind poison. I was curious to see how he died. I suspect it won't be a blow from behind like the other two. His, I think would appear more like a suicide, like the flat Earth girl he tormented to death. I think she was the catalyst to his internal guilt condemning him to the same fate. If he truly had no regard why mention what he lists as accomplishments? It seems he does so listing his sins. I believe it's all Charlie, no one else has seen this thing or was tormented. The others involvement is through Charlie. The right hand is typing while the left hand is killing. Although, Charlie is unaware of his psychotic break. It's the generic way they died that makes me think this was him, and not some obscure monster even though he believes it. He fed his troll. Since Charlie was friends with both Sarah and the other loser he probably had access to their homes. Perhaps, this is why Sarah was fearful of the dark vulgar name and the persistence of Charlie. Perhaps, this character surfaced before? Or at least traits and it was one of his online personalities. Just a guess. Anywho, great read, Doc. I like how menacing you make the antagonist sound... Well, in this story the antagonist is more like the antihero.

Awesome analysis of the story !!! The sad thing is people like this actually exist. Self hate and loathing, miserable and just taking it out on society. You especially see it on the political landscape, both sides of the aisle. I wish I had the talent to track people like Charlie and make their lives a living hell....
@dominicusx6 жыл бұрын
It's true, these people exist. It's like a contagious disease that spreads through the internet. It's a perpetual cycle of hatred, dictation and each side feels their side is just and Noble that they must defend it to the bitter end in a verbal, or written war. They do not realize their folly that they are in a constant inescapable debate in which no side wins and everyone loses consumed by their ideologies. It's like a desperate hamster running tirelessly in a cold, metal wheel searching for freedom, a bright escape from its prison and it ain't going nowhere. To hate them is to contribute to that cycle and you get sucked right in like Charlie. Hatred begets hatred in other words. I say let them believe what they want it's the only way to win the game. Be indifferent, don't bother in engaging as long as you know what is true in your heart and mind who cares what some troll thinks. Soon you will see they are killing themselves with their own hate. It's consuming and utterly stressful breaking down mind and body to have an internet grudge match of political differences, foaming and frothing at the mouth to a screen name like rabid dogs. The writer demonstrated this with Charlie being consumed by evil and it's a infection with the flat Earth girl. Two different view points with same miserable ending. She cared what a troll thought of her. It's idiocracy, and you don't have to do a thing, or be like Charlie. Let them run circles in that cold, metal wheel. lol How is that for scary?

Yeah the average troll is more like kyle's dad in that south park episode who just poke oversensitive people to get a rise out of them and expose their hypocrisy. It is the fantasy of the people getting trolled that trolls are some sad fat virgin in his mom's basement with no friends and no life. I'm sure people like that are out there but the grand majority are just regular people who do it for the laughs. I'd rather hang out with a proper troll than someone who cries because people said mean things to them online any day of the week.
@DaddyGrindstien6 жыл бұрын
Kari no clothes All trolls are out there to stir the pot, but it's not funny to them until it boils over. They don't laugh because you care, they laugh because you get worked up. Whether it is a serious topic or a stupid one, the comedy value is in the fact that they can make a jerky comment and watch everyone lose their minds. They don't laugh at what they said to you, they laugh at your rage. It is better not to engage someone who is being deliberately toxic like that at all, but if you do, keep your cool, laugh, realize that you are not going to get through to that person because they may not even believe the things they are saying. You can't shame them, you can't reason with them, but they understand something that many people don't. That is that getting angry is a choice. It is not something that is done to you, it is something you allow to happen. Don't be a victim. They can't make people do anything unless people allow it to happen by giving up their own power. That is how they win and that is why it is funny. They don't make victims out of people, those people chose to be a victim instead of letting it roll off their shoulder. In the end the motivations of a troll are irrelevant, only how you react matters. When people say "don't feed the trolls" they often mean don't talk to trolls, but often times that does not work because they keep poking till they get a rise out of you. Just don't give it to them. They can only type words into a little box, they have no real power, you are holding all of the cards. If you let words in a little box get you all upset then you have given your power away to them, they cannot take it from you, you give it away. They target the weak. Don't give them your power. Trolls can make you weaker or trolls can make you stronger, your choice... Smile, don't feed the trolls. ;-)
@DaddyGrindstien6 жыл бұрын
Kari no clothes I agree with you about the trolling of people who lost a loved one. Those are certainly sick people Whom I would not be surprised to find that they suffered some kind of serious abuse in their life. It really does not get any lower than that. The nature of the internet makes it much more likely to bump into someone who has psychopathic tendencies or is genuinely damaged. I have no advice on how to deal with people like that. At least not over the internet. People like that respond to a vigorous ass kicking, they are the reason that jail cells were invented, they are the reason why everyone should own and carry a gun. I'm not saying that all these people are physically dangerous, or that they should be assaulted or jailed for saying mean things online, far from it. I still believe that it is their right to say whatever they want, just as it is our right to respond or not respond as we wish, but people with that kind of mentality are the legitimate "bad guys". The kind that are out to really hurt people for the fun of it, the clockwork orange types. In a free society there is nothing that can be done about them until they attempt to enact violence, at least not without destroying the rights of everyone else in the process. Creating laws against "online bullying" and supporting online censorship may stop this sort of behavior, but not without also taking away good people's ability to to speak their minds and stand up for what is right. I myself have been a victim of this on facebook. I came across a conversation that a former black friend of mine was having where everyone involved was talking about killing white people and supporting race war. I showed up and started chastising them for their ignorance and rightfully calling them assholes and for this my account was suspended. Ridiculous! That is why they are a former friend because they chose to report me to facebook and infringe upon my freedom of speech because I dared to stand up for what is right. Someone who would use power as a club to silence me is not my friend, nor are they someone I care to associate with, they are my enemy. The same goes for guns. The media tries to act like people would be safer without them and use false narratives to support these claims, but the reality is that by taking away guns we take away the ability for old people and women to defend themselves from the harm that bad people will attempt to bring upon them. If you both have guns the playing field is even. If you both have knives, the stronger faster person will have their way 95% of the time. When seconds count the police are minutes away. I can see that I am going off on a bit of a tangent and I know that you did not personally advocate for censorship or gun control, but I hope you can see how these things are related to the topic. This is something I feel very passionate about because I can see that these fundamental human rights that are absolutely essential to a free society and more importantly, free people. They are on the chopping block as of late in order to supposedly make things better when they will only make things much MUCH worse for everyone. That is without even getting into how people in power will use the loss of these freedoms against us and they most certainly will. Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

In all honesty I think stories like these stem from a desire to combate what we have been told is "Bad" Yes what he did wasn't nice but in all honesty it wasn't truly evil how he conducted himself. The whole idea that something will manifest itself into the shape of all the ugly you unleashed is what people want. When we feel wronged we say "Karma" or "Justice" either way I think it's just as bad as trolling. It's the old "An eye for an eye" which doesn't solve anything but I do like how it went. It could have been just a little darker for my taste but I shouldn't ask for that. Considering that there are things I can't stomach. Thank you once more Doctor for another tale that sent shivers down my spine. Your voice and presentation never fail to awe and amaze me. Can't wait for Wednesday for another riviting tale. While I do agree with most of what Dominicus says about the protagonist I believe that it's not all. The protagonist was the person who was so outcast that his teachers barely noticed him. He would sit in the back of the room , he would sit by himself at lunch I might even say that his own mother barely gave him any love or attention . The only reason that he had 2 friends was the fact that he never had to socialize with them in person . The fact that he had any response to the death of his "friends" was out of fear for his own life . Aside from his many problems , I do believe that the antagonist was very real . I don't think that he had the mental stability to even try to create an enemy . While I am a little unsure as to whether he died in the end , it really doesn't matter . He was finally broken down to a wimpering pile of flesh , which would be vastly preferable to a quick death. As usual you did a fantastic job with portraying the characters in this story . Your narration style always can give your stories a level that few others can reach . Thank you for an entertaining 34 minutes .

I feel like if you're going to be hateful, expect all that negativity to crash down on you at some point. This entity seemed like a collective subconscious birthed from all the trolls and if we're going with all that shark imagery...some sharks eat each other in the womb and I think some shark mothers will eat their babies because they smell the blood in the water. Trolls trolling trolls until they can't troll anymore? Hmm, this was definitely an easy sit for me, it was easy to be distant with this protagonist. This story felt more like a dark comedy to me, the bit with the "you're out of sugar" made me laugh unexpectedly. Cabin fever could've also been a factor. The creature only having eyes visible was great: symbolizing how trolls want all eyes on them, while also symbolizing the anonymity they love to have. This was a fun, dark, and twisted half hour.

Absolutely fantastic story. It really is a literary fiction. There is so much beyond the story itself that leaves you pondering the “what if’s” long after your 36 minutes of listening is up. I found it interesting that the being had taken on physical characteristics but wasn’t fully formed. It’s a very creepy image that is created in the back of your mind. It represented many things such as addiction, karma and a reflection of ones sin. My favorite part of Black Vulgar was that it treated the trolls in the same manner that the trolls treated others. Complete lack of empathy and only a mock remorse for causing pain and death, even when this person is begging for mercy. Dr. Creepen is the only narrator who could tell this story the way it needed to be told. Bravo! 👏🏽

The law of karma, plus a guilty conscience and the whole notion of being punished by our sins rather than for them is VERY strong here!
@DrCreepen6 жыл бұрын
There really was a strong message of karma in this story, wasn't there?

Wow, that was a fantastic ride! I’ve never had much trolling done to me, some, but I tend to just ignore those “touchpad tough guys”, who if you were to face to face with would end up exactly as Charlie did. Whimpering and begging, saying he’s oh so sorry for causing that girl to commit suicide. And as macabre a story it was dealing with the murders of his only two “friends”, he absolutely deserved whatever hellish end he came to. So allow me to unleash due praise to our favorite and best of the best narrator, Dr Creepen! So much of his time he gives us, so much energy expended. And all of it coming together to form a flawless execution of a story told so well. We all appreciate your efforts, don’t ever doubt it! And here I go into another one of your tales...☠️

How did I miss this video? I saw all the ones before and after this one. I do prefer the long videos for sure but it doesn't make sense that I didn't even see it. Unless it was a birthday present to me! I like that thought. I will hear it now. I can-NOT wait until Tuesday! Thanks Doctor.🖤💚🖤💚🖤

I'm currently working on a short story that also deals with a particular addiction. Hearing this story has giving me some inspiration to help flesh mine out; another brilliant narration Doctor!

i think the author is showing us that charlie and his stalker are very similar..Both are cruel and faceless..charlie, as a troll, is just an anonymous name out in cyberspace. To his victims, hes faceless and a monster, as well.

I think you've picked up on a very important plot point there.

Trolls are those people you see on the streets that won't look you in the eye. Those silent people that watch and hate and hide behind technology, because they cannot get laid. Jeez.
