@@andrewlevesque3468 True, but if I remember correctly, its only a medium fire damage compared to the new Dreadking gene's high damage. Plus personally, I'd rather have a blastblighr ignition than a chance to burn imo, especially since my Bazel's build is focused mainly on pure fire damage and blastblighting.

if i recall in MHS1, Silver had a greatsword whilst Gold had a sword and shield.

Guys if you want dreadking without figthing him do a coop quest called (explore) deviant den and use sr expedition ticket to find dreadking egg easily

@@zombehnashun I don't think Gold and Silver will be stronger because the peak of power is typically an Elder Dragon and Dreadking is already on that level. Instead I believe they're gonna serve a niche, either for Crit Builds or Burn Builds but the overall stat total will be roughly the same. But I may be wrong, we'll see.

There is no update, go ingame, load up the co op menu to connect to the internet then back out the menu to quest board, works for me, it may take a couple of mins.

I wonder if Dreadking armor is better than Rajang’s with an ideal talisman. That aside it’s cool to have a ST move to inflict blastblight. My current Teo blastblight build can’t double attack with skills so maybe I’ll make a Bazelguese that can with these new genes.

Dreadking's pretty neat; fashioning that layered armor ASAP. Shame about the weapons though, even if SnS has a good share of fire weapons, I was hoping for that beautiful Dreadking one. Fight is also very easy; at least in comparison to Molten Tigrex. Its also a shame that the last two monsties will be another batch of fire ones; here's really hoping they either just make some of the monsters in the game actual monsties, or that we get a sizable expansion with the much needed upgrade to elementally lacking monstie list.

Capcom is extremely weird on their decisions with these monsties. Hellblade gets a sick crit gene, boltreaver gets a crazy power up move; these two elements have plenty of genes. Then soulseer gets screwed over with a subpar power up gene and elderfrost is copy pasted gammoth. Molten tigrex in dragon egg den(missed opportunity to put valstrax in the game).

@@gruggedup9083 The hellblade did make sense since he has a greatsword for a tail and I am also upset that no valstrax is not here. He would have been the dragon monstie with a speed gene which makes no sense why they did not give dragon zinorge a speed attack.

Yeah I found that out today while farming. Apparently I guess I didn't get the notification that he got added despite being updated to the latest patch so my 4+ hours of farming Rare Dens was for nothing.. I still managed to get a normal egg so I held onto it. Thanks for chiming though

you can get SR tickets from the melynx for 100 bottle caps, you can also find them in blue chests in High Rank multiplayer dens - to unlock them, all you need to do is reach high rank

Is somebody else annoyed at rathalos/rathian/legiana's walking/running animation as I am? They are wyverns, look at their wings, there is no way a creature would be able to walk/run with such big wings just holding them in the air like chickens. They look like kyurem basically, a tap from them back and their nose would fall in the sand. It makes much more sense from them to walk on their wings like barioth, tgrex and nargacuga than this kyurem-style. Bats walk on their wings, birds do not. Birds have feathers and are really light with hollow bones. I cringe everytime I look at rathalos rathian and legiana walk/stand/run in the game: it make me not want to use them although they are so beautiful in the sky.

He has 20 less dmg than a teostra but has higher crit,speed. Silver will be equal to teostra on base dmg but everything else on silver will outclass teostra.

@@zombehnashun depends on your specific build. My dreadking is versatile and has more hp and dmg than my nergigante so i can imagine the insane power of a silver rathalos once he arrives. Another advantage dread has is his weakness to dragon element and none of them have a speed dragon gene he'll be great for pvp.
