I have an ott idea for the master bedroom. I was thinking of adding a balcony or patio to the main bedroom that opens up to the garden. You could maybe cancel the stairs leading to the wellness centre and use the set of stairs from the living room patio. The “balcony” could join the bedrooms facing the pool. Under it could be a veranda/patio for the wellness room where you could place pool beds. I don’t know if I’m making sense but I think it would be lovely opening sliding doors in the main bedroom and being able to interact with the kids/guests by the pool.

Your videos have convinced me that a fixer upper is the best option. I think the dining room is perfect where it is. You definitely wanna have the living area directly across the kitchen island, so that if someone is preparing food or snacks in the kitchen, they don't feel too isolated from the rest of the family or guests who are maybe watching television or having drinks in the living room. Judging from the other projects, I know this house will look great either way.

What on earth does a young couple need such an enormous house for? In Europe we would start with a sitting/dining room, kitchen bathroom and one or two bedrooms. That would cost about 350 to 400.000 euros, already more than most people can afford!

It really depends on the wall (size, type) which will affect the amount of labour, materials and speciality needed. Is the pillar providing any support to the roof?
