I assume they would only use them when something is not actually playing but holy crap the RGB color strobe going on in the video is annoying, especially while he is showing how to aim the projector. No separate amp at least for the front and center? I notice a huge difference in clarity at higher volumes with separate amps. Also not a servo sub? Cheap Rythmik sub for $200 more would have been a huge upgrade.

They look great if set up properly. Having no light at all is bad for the eyes. Strobe is what they all do when first turned on. I run mine blue green, instead of detracting from the screen they tend to emphasize it, frame it.

they have some for computer monitors that match the color and give off an effect like its extending the display subliminally that on this would be cool this however is just dumb except for like a light for intermissions

I've got really basic DIY room treatment in my av room and it helps a heck of a lot compared to... just nothing like in this dumb install here in this video. Who needs an room treatment in an expensive install when you've got stupid pointless colour changing lights behind the screen!!!

Guys, I realise you're promoting your business and that means you need to show us the 'ooh ahhh' parts of the install, but to jam all that gear into a large, empty room with no room treatment (not even freaking bass traps) is just criminal, IMO. Sure, the owner can take care of that later but if your intent is to show a 'zero to hero' install, you know as well as I do that takes more than electronics and speakers. Thanks for the video.

I'm assuming they don't know.

@@jokerzwild106 Look, I get that they've moved on to another install - that's what pays their bills, not responding to some random yokel on social media - but that room just looks so effing bare : to use that as their business card strikes me as kinda odd. Most of the better car audio installers on YT go to great pains to soundproof as much of the speaker enclosures as they can, even to the point of adding sound deadener to the trunk - HT is a much bigger task than *most* car audio installs, even if the wiring isnt quite as tedious.
