I really think psychological people are often not trained to tell the differ between DID/OSDD vs. CPTSD, PTSD, BPD, or the psychotic disorders (including psychotic depression). Instead they are trained to shoe-horn everything they possibly can into BPD, PTSD or one of the psychotic disorders, or anything but DID or OSDD.
