I can remember listening to my parents and grandparents talking about the healings that could come from drinking and bathing in sulphur water. Being in TN, there are a lot of sulphur springs and many had well water that contained sulphur. Before all the medications and medical treatments, sick people were often sent to places in the country for the exposure to the fresh air and the sulphur and mineral springs. There were even hotels built in these areas for people to come to for health benefits. My mother was born in 1934. She was a sickly child. Her doctor told my grandmother to send her to her uncles farm to stay for a while. They had sulphur well water. So she spent several months living on the farm with her grandparents and uncle. She quickly got better and completely healed from all her symptoms. Including being prone to getting pneumonia. Which back then, could be very hard to survive. Especially for children.

I've watched Dr. Ekberg's videos for less than a month and I've learned so much about how to eat healthy. I read a good book before about whole foods, but there're a lot of things that even a good book can't do. Dr. Ekberg's presentation and explanation is superb, and I've already felt a difference in my body. I don't have cravings (esp. for a bowl of cereal) at night any more and my stomach is not feeling bloated anymore. To put it simply, the videos just make sense! Thank you Dr. Ekberg!

Thank you Dr. Ekberg! After watching one of your Ketosis videos 3 weeks ago, I made up my mind to work on getting healthy. I’m a insulin dependent T2D that was eating a high carb diet and killing myself. I stopped drinking Dirt Coke and switched to water. I also eliminated 90% of the carbs from my diet. My insulin usage went from 200+ units to 20 units a day within 2 weeks! I feel much better and I’m on the road to better health thank you for your great videos that explain what’s going on in my body. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I understood I had liver problems when I realized my bile ducts were blocked (jaundice and chalk colored stools were a big hint, pain was minimal but persistent). Both of them. I read, I learned, I kept learning and finally decided to "cleanse" my liver, change my diet and do all that I could to resolve this issue of fatty liver disease. It took a full year before I began to get the hang of it and in that time I did a lot of "cleanses" and passed a lot of congealed bile but no stones. Enough bile to fill a 2 gallon bucket (a lifetime of poor diet habits). Only after I stopped passing bile was I able to pass stones. Someone described the liver as "the other brain." I decided that I wanted to hang on to my gallbladder. That wakeup call started a learning, doing and healing process that I'm still in today. Keto is the next part of the journey and I'll be paying attention to my liver as well.

If I where a biology teacher I'd make my pupils watch all your videos for learning - not for school but for their healthy lifes. *Some real quick tips:* - *Exercising regularly* is a great way to detox your body, and can help flush out toxins in the process! Stay away from sedentary activities like watching TV for hours on end or long stretches of sitting at work - you may not realize it but those things are slowly killing your liver! - *Reduce sugar intake* _Hope it helps!_

I develop tendonitis from fluid retention, esp. if I take certain antibiotics. When I control the fluid retention, the tendonitis goes away. Perhaps you should be looking at things that would make you retain fluids. In my case it’s CHF, but it could be kidney or liver problems just as easily…

Dear Dr Ekberg, I found your channel by accident. I knew previously what keto diet was but I was a bit apprehensive to start it. When I weighed myself at the end of July, I scared myself from the number. It was 126kg - more than 250lbs. I said to myself enough is enough. I started exercising more (cycling and running) eating healthier (more fat, proteins and low carb vegetables), and overtime I reduced the carbs so much that I didn't feel the urge to eat bread, sweets, pasta etc. Until today I managed to shed almost 16kg (35lbs). After I found your channel I found out that I was doing all the right stuff. I'm feeling so much better. Cholesterol level dropped, blood pressure dropped. I can now run more than 5km and cycle more than 50km without problem. Thank you for your amazing content and clear explanation. What are optimal ways of having nutritional yeast to get the most nutrition out of it? Ditto for wheat germ. 3) Can one add nutritional yest or wheat germ to water or tea between meals without interrupting intermittent fasting? 4) How much nutritional yeast and wheat germ should we have daily?
