Its probably because he himself was unhealthy and had to figure out what to do about it just like so many others, myself included. Doctor school just teaches how to manage symptoms and that is probably because the schools are bought and paid for by pharmaceutical companies. I wish i could find the documentary about how that developed over the last century. It was a war between healers that used herbs and food and doctors that used medicine and surgery.

I recently had my first kidney stone...I was eating a LOT of almonds and dark chocolate. The doctors told me that it was 8 mm and would be almost impossible to pass. I started drinking apple cider vinegar in my water every day along with corn silk tea...after 2 months my stone broke up into 3 parts and it passed! The two worst things for your kidneys are sugar and oxalates. It’s crucial to stop consuming sugar and high-carb foods and to start limiting your exposure to high-oxalate foods. However, consuming cheese or dairy with foods that are high in oxalates, but are otherwise healthy, can help counter kidney damage from oxalates. Foods high in oxalates: • Almonds • Spinach • Beet tops • Peanuts • Grains • Beans • Sweet potatoes • Cassava • Tapioca • Kiwi • Chocolate • Swiss chard • Turmeric • Cinnamon • Clove The best ways to protect your kidneys: 1. Consume lemon water every morning 2. Consume apple cider vinegar mixed in water 3. Consume 2.5 liters of water a day 4. Avoid high-oxalate foods or add dairy to high-oxalate foods 5. Get on the Healthy Keto® diet and do intermittent fasting 6. Avoid fructose 7. Avoid consuming high levels of vitamin C 8. Consume potassium (not for end-stage kidney disease) 9. Consume plant foods and microgreens Thank you Dr Berg,🐱👍🏿

I had gallstones and was recommended to have gall bladder removal surgery. A friend's mother in law who came visiting from Peru suggested CHANCA PIEDRA tea. (Phyllanthus niruri) It is known as stone breaker in her country. My gallstones were gone in two days. My primary care physician was shocked. I never had the surgery. It wasn't needed anymore. I researched it and found out that it is a plant native to tropical coastal areas. The entire plant is used to produce an herbal supplement used in teas, capsules, liquid extracts, and tablets. The herb is believed to have health benefits in treating ulcers, urinary tract stones, and various conditions related to the kidneys, liver, and digestive system. I am a huge green tea drinker so I added it to my tea war chest. This was 6 years ago. I have never had any problems at all since then. One reason you must listen to your mother in law. 😅

I'm 69 and a former vitamin taker without a reason, I developed very painful kidney stones, were I couldn't even move in bed, or get up. Lucky for me I followed your advice I stopped taking all forms of extra calcium, and started I drinking fresh squeezed pure lemon juice (6-8 lemons), once a week though a straw to avoid getting lemon juice on my teeth. I also drank from time to time a glass of unfiltered apple cider, with a tablespoon of ACV. No more kidney stone pains whatsoever!
@MC-pz3ps
@MC-pz3ps Жыл бұрын
@I'm happy Bed bath & Beyond is where I got the juicer, yes it's sour but it's not bad, if you use a big straw and suck it in past your teeth, and rinse your mouth fast after to minimize lemon juice on you teeth enamel. I do it first thing in the morning, and then do some activity. The next morning the pain is lessened, because the stones dissolved somewhat from the lemon juice. Repeat it the next day if you feel you need to. Good luck.

@@Drew_Hurst I agree. Recently I've read some comments decrying that we DON'T eat the same things every day our whole lives, like indigenous people might have. But since so much of our food supply is altered one way or another, with toxic results, I feel it's best to keep things switched up. Even with things like supplements, I like to alternate, say, a tincture, a pill, and whole foods containing that nutrient.

@@gsp1634i think because of pottasium- sodium imbalance ( causes calcium to be deposited in soft tissues instead of bones. Blood vessels and heart tissue is one of the places calcium is deposited causing plaque buildup. Which narrows arteries. This causes pain in muscles. Also muscles also have calcium deposited( I think, pls check earlier videos) this makes them not work well and causes pain.

Pancreatic cancer has one thing in common: fuel. Soooo, nonorganic decaffeinated coffee, some drug like meth, and non organic almonds. That dates to '85, a bunch of growers contaminated their almonds with water down stream of cows, so e-coli, sickness, 3 dea-ths, 2 ways to fix, steam or fuel. Pancreas can't deal with fuel. Likely some jobs where workers get fuel soaked and skin absorption is an issue also. The tea strips every thing else, it is worth the bother. Need well water or distilled water in your glass gallons from the water store. To avoid floride or plastic stored distilled water.

I'm 40 years old and I experienced gout for the first time. In the beginning I noticed a lot of uric crystals coming out of my scalp, I was urinating a lot, also pissing out sugars and would have back pain where my kidneys are intensely where it would wake me up at night and I had to spend a few hours on a foam roller just to get some relief. Then I developed a sore on the last joint of my left big toe. This wound would not go away and I had some intense pain from it just from walking or some nights laying with a blanket on it caused a lot of discomfort. I have to squeeze this thick jelly like build up from inside and then I get some relief but this went on for months and months. Then all my joints hurt suddenly for a week or so and just being on my knees or on my elbows hurt. I stopped eating pasta, gluten foods, ate less sugar, less salt. More bison meat, eggs, potatoes and water. Started juicing a lot of celery and grapefruit. Now my wound on my toe is completely gone and I don't have any pain walking, no more deep kidney pain, my digestion is far better. No more joint pains. Is it crazy experience and at one point I thought I was dying probably from the waste in my blood. So glad that I'm not experiencing that anymore. I've talked to my doctor and also a naturopath and they didn't even know what was happening.

Your videos are always great. Ibuprofen, I am sure I butchered the spelling, caused the damage to my kidneys. The story behind this is complicated but thanks to you,Dr. Berg, I am healing. The best news you have given me is that they can regenerate. I am an avid listener. I do not do keto but eat less than 100 grams of carbs a day. Usually it is 50 to 75. I am a stage three and on the mind. I not only listen I apply. I eat sprouts. With impared vision they are easier for me. Fortunately I do not have kidney stones. Love your white board. I can see some and it helps me learn.

I had my first kidney stone at the age of 12. From then on I had them once a year to twice a year. I even had one surgically removed at 18. What stopped them was I started to force myself to drink water because I never was thirsty and was always dehydrated. I would love to know why some people don't get thirsty my dad also would sip on his drinks and the ice would be melted and the glass still half full and he got kidney stones as well but his started 15 years after mine. My mom guzzled down her drinks and never had a kidney stone in her life. I started to take magnesium and drinking lots of water and it's been 20 or more years since I've had one. Just drinking more water and taking magnesium stopped mine. I never stopped eating spinach or avoiding any foods. A doctor told me she found high levels of uric acid in my urine and I am pretty sure I have pseudogout. Apple cider vinegar helps with that. Just had to tell what worked for me. I hope I never have one of those painful things again. I've noticed that once I started to force myself to drink more water the more I wanted it and now I drink all the time but coffee sometimes dehydrated me when I over consume it.

You're just like me!! I'm so difficult to feel thirtsy. I can even not taking any water after eating. It doesn't matter for me. When I force myself to drink, I'm immediately want to vomit. At 15 I got diagnosed with dehydration too, and oftenly had bloody nose. As I getting older, this matter bothers me more since I need to keep my kidney healthy 😢
@Angel-gb9gi
@Angel-gb9gi Жыл бұрын
@@thenerdyhobbit3935 a can of soda would last me all day when I was a teen. Drinking like normal folks was not for me. You would think when a person is dehydrated their body would signal a need to drink more. I drank coffee and tea and would just sip here and there. Everytime I went to the hospital with a kidney stone they would hook me up to an iv and give me water. I never vomited from drinking water I just made sure I downed 1 glass of water every hour when dehydrated and then I would down a glass every 2 hours once replenished with water. If you can't stand straight water add something you like to it. Everything we need to change in our lives needs small steps in the right direction or we might just give up when it gets too hard. I not only get kidney stones but also bladder infections if i don't drink enough water and both are so painful I would rather use make sure every 2 hours I drink a normal sized glass of water to avoid the pain. Start off slow getting used to drinking more water but do what you can do. I think drinking more water can become a habit like doing everything else that becomes a habit. Just be careful with beverages like coffee and tea that dehydrate you. They get me in trouble all the time when I over consume and get too busy to take the time to make sure I have plenty of water. I don't why people like us don't want to drink when dehydrated, it's weird.

@@Angel-gb9gi IKR! Some nerve signal about needs of water I think is broken. Okay, will do all the tips. Thank you for your time and testimony. I can relate to that very well. Yea, gonna start small steps to make it a habit and progressing to normal hydration habit. I mean like, it's not because we are ignorant or else. But our bodies don't signal it normally 😿. I also relate with coffee and tea too. Also my job makes me sit all day long. So many factors that make me overthink right now, haha.
