I have implemented a keto diet. Very strict. Also exercising daily. B12, B1, Alpha, and tumeric. This seems to be helping. Takes some time. Nerves heal slowly. My legs over the last several days have calmed down the nerve tingling drastically. Hands do not tingle near as much. I have read it could take several months to a year for complete healing. Praying for the best. Hope you all health and wellness. God bless.

I myself did this combo, and got rid of my peripheral neuropathy. Took about 4 months total. Still on it for my Prediabetes, and fatty liver. With a couple of other suggestions for those other aliments. From Dr. Bergs videos. Seems to be working good. Blood work is looking positive. Like my A1C was slowly coming down for those 4 months. Then i went from 5.4 to 4.7 in 3 months after add some other thing suggested by Dr. Berg and a course my own research, because everyone is different, and has other things going on. Dr. Berg is Awesome. Has helped me get on the right track to better health. I am now hooked on doing research of the body. Spend minimum of 2 to 3 hours a day learning about how to improve the body naturally. Diet came first in march. Then Working on my stomach, and digestion system. Apple cider vinegar pills, Betaine Hydrochloride, Standard Process Zypan, Bile Salts, a raw probiotic with prebiotics & Digestive Enzymes, and Santa Cruz organic lemon juice in spring water. in the morning, and night. Also drink 2.5 liters of spring water a day nothing else. That got me off Omeprazole that i had been on for 12 years plus others. more than 6 months now stomach is great. I have had a difficult Journey in my life health wise was born with a rare disease called polycystic kidney disease. Got on dialysis at 44 years old for just over 10 years. Finally got a transplant March 27 2019. Thank you Jesus. That machine causes so many problems trying to keep me alive, but what is the alterative? They removed both of my kidneys 6 years in, because I got on the list, but the kidneys were so large (left 15 pounds right 11pounds) there was no room to put a transplanted kidney so out they went. 4 years with no kidneys relying on the dialysis machine to pull the fluid off my body while cleaning my blood. I am now fixing those issues one at a time. My doctors are amazed. I am determined to be healthy once again. Finding Dr. Bergs videos in march has only accelerated my process. I am deeply grateful for Dr. Bergs videos being put i my path. God Bless you Sir. And as always all glory to God without Him i am nothing. S.B.

I’m a thin guy but got diagnosed about a year ago and ended up in the ER for a week. So now a year later my feet burn at night and at work during the day I can’t feel them and I often stumble. I’m terrified of being amputated.

It was the worst feeling in the world. . . Death seemed certainly soon. Feet were numb, a deep crack on the heel, turning yellow. Hands numb/ tingling. Vision was becoming blurry. Constant fatigue, negative outlook. It was impossible to be grateful. It was not if but when would these limbs require amputation. At 23/24 years old feeling 100 years old, making it to age 30 didnt seem practical. After taking carbon 60, it gave me so much energy and relief that allowed me to research and found out that I was suffering from every symptom of diabetes. I didnt need a doctor to tell me this. I dont trust them. So I never went. Now, after 18/6 fasting and keto every single day I experience ZERO symptoms. I have been given a second chance at life. Feel younger than ever and I think 120 years old is very practical goal to live to. Thank you doctor berg and all others like you

@@diplomatgirl171 a very interesting molecule. Its found in nature , its carbon. But only one type, carbon60. There are many different carbons but only carbon 60 has the ability to neutralise free radicals over and over rather than being used up and eliminated after one transaction. C60 can keep "donating electrons" which really theres no such thing as charge carrying particles but that's what we call it. So it behaves as a super antioxidant. Made rats live twice as long. It passes the blood brain barrier also and works up the too.

@@diplomatgirl171 I have a video how to mix it yourself or you can buy it pre mixed. It's very simple. Carbon 60, your oil of choice and 2 weeks of stirring with a magnetic stirrer. This is to fully saturate the c60 and encapsulate each molecule with lipid to be absorbed and used in the body. Its pretty amazing stuff.

@@sandrac11 Hey, yeah I got a boatload of supplements. The main thing to change of course is the sugars and eating frequency. No sugar/honey in coffee, NOTHING. I try to eat 4 boiled ⭐️eggs daily and a lot of ⭐️veggies and a couple handful of nuts like macadamia and almonds. I haven’t ate bread for months. When it comes to exercise for health blood circulation and nerve stimulation, weighted burpees works for me because it’s a total body workout with resistance. I always feel better when I get moving. I also don’t like to eat if I’m going to be inactive afterwards. I take ashgawanda, panax gingseng, or ⭐️beetroot powder for good energy (I get a bit of fatigue from keto) and nitric oxide for blood vessel dilation. Other supps I take: ⭐️Wheatgrass powder, ⭐️Dr. Bergs electrolyte powder, pure ⭐️Tumeric powder with pepper, ginger powder, ⭐️cinnamon powder, tart cherry powder, vanadium w/chromium, ⭐️Vitamin D3, Cacao powder, ⭐️Nutritional yeast, ⭐️Benfotiamine, ⭐️Alpha Lipoic Acid, Bromelain, Fulvic Acid, Milk Thistle, Vitamin B-12, Haritaki powder, Cloves ⭐️apple cider vinegar, lemon water with cayenne pepper, celery seed, Red Hawaiian salt and Andrographis (not all at once). All this might not be necessary, I just do alchemy and see what works haha. If PN gets super unbearable, try phenibut temporarily @ nootropics depot. It’s a CNS depressant, but please read about the withdrawals. Also I got a cheap foot massager if I mess up on my diet and the tingles come back ⚡️ (SUPER CLUTCH 🤣) Hope this helps 🙏🏽❤️

I was a hospital RN for 40 years, responsible for doing quite a bit of diabetes teaching although not my main focus . Never heard any doctor or dietician or information packet give these people ,who suffer terribly from this seriousness condition, this information. I didn't know it either. Such a shame so much is left to people to find out on their own. Many Insurance companies don't pay for diabetes education anymore or the education that's they do offer isn't complete with no follow up to make sure they are doing okay.

I always find your explanations very much to the point and root cause of the disease process. Many cases of peripheral neuropathy become symptomatic before glycemic control is lost, ie., in the prediabetic state. As such, it is probably not elevated glucose that is the root cause of the neuropathy. However, all of your suggestions of how to treat this condition by dealing with the insulin resistance and its metabolic consequences are right on.. Of course, and as always, it is much better to be proactive and develop a healthy metabolism than waiting for the symptoms and complications of diabetes to appear. I do very much appreciate how you freely share so much terrific advise with anyone who wishes to listen..

Since watching this and reading lots on Fasting and watching Dr Berg I started Intermittent Fasting and a push to Keto (getting better). No weight loss yet BUT diabetes back to Prediabetes - Drug-free. My feet were still swelling and uncomfortable. I saw the advice on Benfotiamine. @@PedroJesusAlvarez Hi Pedro, yes keeping to the “clean” keto lifestyle with the odd rare food higher in carbs but not wheat, grains Etc. definitely Avoid sugar, takeaways, bad oils, sweeteners and soda drinks.I am taking recommended supplements after watching certain you tube channels and doing my own research, but not every day as it’s so pricey, I am impressed with Dr Bergs Electrolytes powder. In these troubled times it’s good to get fresh air, exercise, intermittent fasting, sleep and quality foods that work with your body rather than against. Being off all the medical prescribed medication that I have endured these last 12 years is such a relief and good for the mind! It was a struggle to wean off some of them, I am someone who seems to suffer horrible side effects on them and coming off them. I will never go down the prescription route again. I’d rather know what the MS is doing in my body rather than sticking a plaster over very badly and not knowing what’s medication side effects or MS symptoms. That way I can use my own instinctive ways and immune system to help cope. I also have been going through menopause which has a lot of MS like symptoms, it’s been quite the journey! Interestingly I have suffered with chronic depression most of my adult life, yet this last year changing so much, I don’t have the daily lows that I used to or feeling like ending it all. Much more mindful and good at distracting myself in positive ways. I wish I had known this way of nutrition back when I left home and could make my own choices! Sadly I went with Diet Coke by the litres and a lot of sugar ironically along with 20 years of being vegetarian and thinking I was doing the right thing! I now read every label of a food item I pick up. My inflammation is down, my head clearer and my lungs, muscles stronger. Apologies this is a long reply, but you did ask 🤣🥳

Dr Berg, you focus on neuropathy from diabetes, however, I am not diabetic, ( at least my glucose blood tests never revealed high glucose), but have peripheral nerve damage from many spinal issues including stenosis and facet joint arthritis throughout the spine including scoliosis and chronic pain and stiffness for many years. I suffer with IBS, Sinusitis, tinnitus, osteoarthritis in many joints, lots of "itises" all stemming from a 1 inch shorter right leg . The LLD is a result of a fractured femur at age of 15 , I'm now 69 yo. Not until about 12 years ago, have I worn the true adjustments to my shoes. The damage has been done. But, by watching your and other videos for a few years now, I am finally LEARNIG what doctors don't come close to telling you. My neurologist , who has retired, and the new one put me on Gabapentin. 600 to 900 mg per day, but on certain days i forget and skip it. I just learned that GP is VERY difficult to stop. Typical of the medical , poorly educated doctors..... never look to the causes, o ly to treating symptoms... " take a pill for the ill", if I can quote John Bergman. Thx for info and vids. Mine went away with keto, benfotiamine and fasting (both time-restricted feeding and extended fasting.) I also take magnesium threonate, in addition to the other magnesium. It will take months or years. It will depend on how long you've had it and on how long you've reversed your high blood sugar. I also took Dr Berg's Blood Sugar Support for the first few months on keto. Dr Berg is good about not "pushing" his formulas, but this one sounded worthwhile, and I think this is the only one I've taken. The keto and fasting also brought down my spinal inflammation due to degenerative disc disease-much more quickly than the above.

Two tablets of benfotiamine before sleep gets rid of the foot nerve tingling. But it returns about half a day later. So Dr. Berg is bang on about taking 4 a day (2x2). Hopefully the benfotiamine is doing more than just suppressing the symptom, but healing/strengthening the nerves. Taking two in the morning is a great way to start the day too because B1 gives you a noticeable boost in energy. I think it's helping with nerve connectivity because I've found I'm playing instruments more effortlessly since taking it consistently months ago (contorting my fingers more quickly), whereas before my fingers were more sluggish to move around and stay in tempo. It's rather fascinating to notice. I've gotten the sense that my nervous system has been starved for some time, and I'm getting back up to that baseline with the right nutrients and a better diet.

I had no idea and I ended up with chronic issues in my hands like peripheral neuropathy and eventual nerve damage and weakness that never recovered entirely, but about 90%. I thought it was just an RSI, and I also struggled with bipolar disorder. I started to discipline myself into eating more regularly and within 2 weeks I started feeling better and my issues have been in remission for years since. As a cancer patient, I have been told by my doctor to watch out for neuropathy, as this is one of the major side effects of my chemo meds. I have never experienced any of the pain, numbness or tingling sensations that come with the condition. But then, I avoid carbs, esp the highly refined sugars. I also do a lot of walking, esp in the sunshine (not longer than 25 minutes in intense sun). I am not diabetic. It seems doctors do not associate high carb diets with neuropathy. My nutritionist (also a doctor), since the beginning of chemo, wanted me to take supplements laden with sugar and other sweeteners, 2x a day. Needless to say, I did not take his advice. No neuropathy so far after 6 months of chemo, and I don't think I ever will get it.

I have also started fasting and eating to carbs and sugar the last 2 weeks if ever minimally. But i think if this is blood related maybe the concentration in our feet because of gravity cause the nerves to be destroyed so raising your feet does something abt it.

I would like to make a suggestion to you because I've had problems with my legs and recently my feet too. My Podiatrist suggested that I elevate my legs at 90 degrees against the wall - at least twice a day for 20 minutes each time. WOW, it was GREAT!!! My legs, feet and my energy level ALL improved. So now I do it regularly/daily. Give it a try - hopefully it will work for you too. In addition, try those new sandals that allow your feet to feel very cushioned. I bought several pairs of the brand "JBU" and the style is 'Dover'. It has a unisex style to them so women and men can wear them. Instantly my feet felt so MUCH better. Every little bit helps towards making your feet feel better.
