Drew is an ICON yet she is extremely humble. She places each guest on a pedestal and empowers them with such grace.

Interestingly enough, as as someone who has been through the twelve steps, what Oprah is talking about is the basis. Giving back, it grounds you, helps you remember where you were and how you felt, how you moved forward and helping foster that blessing for someone else.

I think Drew is a absolute genius, I don't use that word lightly. From such a young age she had such a sence of herself as it comes from within her so powerfully she then radiates that same insight toward others. Her memory is phenomenal for such detail she notices in others, she infuses it so naturally with a very powerful energetic balancing of love and raw emotions. A very strong woman. Respect.

My father died of cancer when I was 4years old. My mom loved us and was always affectionate and we felt loved . I think the death of my father and my mother's alcoholism and emotional instability caused me damage . When I went to school my teacher told me I was , "Slow as molasses" . That teacher set into motion an insecurity in me that lasted a lifetime. Words can cause so much damage, especially to a child.

The next time I dwell on my childhood trauma I will remember that I am in good company with Drew and Oprah ❤ If I had a chance to ask Drew one question it would be how do you help your children deal with the issues you have with your parents? My daughter just wants me to "get over" my pain so that everything will be ok in her world. But I just cant pretend that I'm ok with the way my mother treated me.

Careful what you wish for... my mom moved out of state when my first child (of 3) was about one y.o.. none of them even know her, really, and- as much as she may drive ME crazy, it still would've been nice to see my kids enjoy a relationship with her 💔

This interview is excellent. Now she's in a new season still successful and she took Oprah's advice because she opened the new season by sharing her own childhood stories impacting so many viewers.
