His performance is hindered from the expressionless, upset faces of the shitty band behind him. Luckily he's funny and handled it well, but what about the other people who aren't as confident with less funny material and those faces turn really sour? Not that I'm in the business of comedy, but from my perspective it seems the establishment is setting the audience up for how they should feel because as my eyes wander, and many eyes do even unintentionally, those lemon expressions break whatever trance the performer is attempting to provide. This man is large and imposing, experienced and handled it well so my case is slightly irrelevant but those faces man, if it wasn't for the one musician to his right, the whole video would have been a cringy situation for sure.

Man I've been going to the comedy clubs out here and those kinds of expressions are completely normal. They were engaged and smiling every once in awhile. He had people in the back laughing hysterically. In open mics most amateurs play out more to the section giving them the most energy.

Polio? I'm pretty sure that's smallpox, which has been successfully eradicated and scarred the skin. Polio has been an oral vaccine for a while and it doesn't leave scars.

Yeah smallpox or tb depending on how old the person is my mom was born early 70s and she doesn't have it my dad was late 60s and he and my uncle do. Pretty sure it was the bcg vaccine for tb in their case. Shortly after the administration was refined and the needle they used changed to modern hypodermic needles we use today
